Still stuck at 179, but I FEEL smaller. Wore a skirt I bought several years ago and couldn't wear because it was too snug.....well, it's loose now! WI tomorrow evening. Maybe that scale will change over night. LOL!

Post IP Chocolate Chip Pancake Fan Alert

My coach told me that they were a hit and they have been notified that IP plans to make them a regular item. They were a temporary holiday item, but they will be back. I, for one, am so glad to hear it!

Haven't read today, but wanted to pass this along . . . if someone already did, my apologies!

Default Just started a new program please help

I was on Ideal Protein (off and on for the last few years) I went back to Daysha's Wellness Clinic because I love the service I get there, and was shocked to see she no longer carries IP. She has a program called Pro Energy. I have tried a couple things so far and I really like the food. I really liked that it is less expensive too. It will be different because I will have to start exercising, which is good because I have become a couch potato thanks to IP. I will keep you posted on how my weight loss goes. Fingers crossed

Has anyone else heard anything about this program?

Some NSV to report: Today is my last day of P2 and also my WI. Lost just a 1/4 pound over two weeks, but lost 1/2 inch from both waist and hips and 1/4 inch on thighs. So I'll take it! Last weekend bought a pair of size 6 skinny jeans. What-- am I high? Nope, they fit.

Tomorrow P3 starts for me and I look forward to eating breakfast. I've always been a breakfast person, and well, it will be awesome!!!!

I do not understand why you are on five unless you have some medical reasons from your doctor. Ask you coach and tell him/her this is not what most clinics do.
I brought that up to my coach at my first weigh in because so many people from this forum as well as a friend of mine at a different clinic are only on three packets. He told me that I because I started at over 200lbs I should be on 5 packets a day (for the first two weeks) as I need to consume about half of my weight in protein per day. He also said I need 5 packets a day so that I can eat at every 3-4 hours starting with breakfast and ending with my snack two hours before I go to bed. I am not sure if this is pure hogwash and a way to get more money out of me but I did lose 4.9lbs the first week and I wasn't starving. I also noticed that he only takes my weight, not my measurements. It seems like most clinics also take measurements.

I have my second weigh in this Saturday, and I believe he is going to move me to four packets. If he suggests that I stay at 5, I might try a different clinic.

@Murrcat Size 6 skinny jeans AND breakfast? That is awesome, congrats to you!

I started at 249 and I had 4 packs the first week and 3 for the rest. I are every few hours but not always a pack. Breakfast at 8, celery at 11, packet at 1 followed by by salad, grazed on veggies all afternoon, dinner by 6 and snack before 9. Every coach I terprets things their own way or has seen things that have made someone successful and of course the $ factor. They earn 50% of the cost of that box of food. They want to make sure you stay on the plan too and you are more likely to do that if you aren't feeling too hungry. The more food calories your body is burning the less it is going I to your fat stores to find calories to burn.

You want less than 30% calories from fat. You time calories from fat by 3 and as long as it is under the total amount of calories, you are good.

Sometimes calories from fat is not provided. I believe you then have to multiply the fat grams by 7 first? Hopefully someone will correct that if I am wrong.

What a great transformation! Congrats on great results!
Please keep coming back to 3fc to share your maintenance journey - and savor and enjoy that breakfast!

I have official weigh in today - per home scale this will not be a whoosh...the numbers are just holding. Stressful return to work after a long holiday leave.... I wonder if that's making me hold on to pounds this week... Something seems to be going on, however - I am in for the duration no matter what the scale says today!
