Scorbett - that's great! It's such a good feeling to have all the Christmas shopping done early! I just finished on the weekend. Now it's on to the wrapping and baking!

Kellyc - that's amazing!! 75lbs! Congratulations!!

I had my weigh in yesterday. Down another 4 lbs for 7 lbs and 10" total. I'm pretty happy about that!

Its not every day, just seems like it happens when I overeat and there are certain foods involved - coffee, peppermint, chocolate. It has now morphed into occasional stomach upset/light nausea/sweating. Sound familiar?
I'm trying to remember...I think it ended up being a strained back. At first they thought it was kidney stones, but then one day I discovered it was my back. I had been taking nightly epsom salt baths (very relaxing) and when I started hurting I stopped the baths. A few weeks later I took another bath and my back hurt, it was the way that I was twisting my body to get out of the tub. I guess it would be difficult to lift 266 lbs out of the tub!! I haven't had any problems since. Actually, knock on wood, everyone around me has been getting sick and I haven't caught it!!

Sorry I couldn't be of any help. Glad to have you here!!!

I am back on IP. The last time I logged on was November 6, 2012...exactly 1 week after I hit my IP goal weight and exactly 1 week after I learned I was pregnant!

In fact...I see my old ticker is at the bottom of the page! Haha, better update that!

So here I am again...my son is 18 months and I have slacked in the baby weight shedding department. I rejoined IP 1 week ago.

Nice to see you all!
Hi! I joined IP last week and I'm in CT too! I have a lot more to lose than you do, but we'll be on our journey together. :-)

Default Cauliflower

Hello all,

There are so many recipes out there that use cauliflower, but I'm hesitant to try them because I just can't stomach its taste and texture. Have any of you discovered recipes that actually mask the flavor? Trying to find some more veggies to incorporate into P1...

Thanks,
Lynette

RuthAnn - that motto helped me SO much through my lunch! The cheese ball stared me in the face and I said 'I'll eat you next year!' LOL! Thank you!!!

Lynette - I really like my version of cauliflower rice. I don't have a food processor, so I just boil cauliflower until soft, strain, then mash it with a potato masher until it's pretty chopped up. I then transfer it to a frying pan, add some soy sauce and an egg and fry it up. Soooooo good!

-------------------

I survived my potluck! Just ate the salad I brought and didn't even look at the other stuff.

My coworker is even bringing this amazing cheese ball because I loved it so much last year! I told her that I can't eat it, but of course she will bring it anyway. I made a giant salad so will have that and my IP Jello for desert. Here's to sticking to the plan!
You did great - congratulations!!

Me: No, I didn't cheat.
Coach: You said you ate a lot of CHOCOLATE!!
Me: No I meant IP chocolate.

Then we both just cracked up. I told her yes, I was secretly eating chocolate and not writing it down.
That is great!!!

Everyone has such great news - congrats to all!! Keep up the good work

Sorry to keep bringing up plateaus. I am wondering if anyone has tried the fat fast for a couple of days and what the result was?

Thank you!

Way to be prepared and you can have it after phase 1 and you probably will like it but will not like to jeopardise how far you have come and you will savor every bite.

That isn't part of IP. You might want to ask in a site that advocates it.
