24 carbs minus 19 grams of fiber equals 5 net carbs.

Is this not considered Unrestricted????
This is a restricted.
There is also fat to consider.
It is the total package.

Only 2 Quest bars sit on the fence between restricted/unrestricted (I still count restricted):
Chocolate peanut butter and Strawberry cheesecake.

Okay Gals/Gents from Washington,

If you're looking for a restaurant to take the family too, try Sea Galleys.
They have the BEST salad bar, everything's super fresh and they have multiple dressings that are IP compliant. I think it was $6 for an all you can eat salad. I also ordered a 8oz grilled chicken

Question for everyone who experienced hair loss on this diet: Does it ever stop? Mine has been coming out en masse for the past month and I'm really getting worried. I'm on biotin supplements, plus using a biotin/collagen shampoo/conditioner and leave-in treatment. Was in the dressing room the other day and horrified to see under the overhead light how broken my whole head is. Little broken hairs everywhere.

I'm starting P2 tomorrow (got a batch of cauliflower tortillas in the oven right now!) - will this help stop the loss? I'm kind of in a panic. Thanks!
My hair loss started in June, I started P2 on Sept 15, P4 this past Thursday. I'm still getting a bit after I comb but it isn't falling out by the handful in the shower anymore.

I phased off 2 pounds before goal and ended up 4 pounds below by the time I went to P4. I hope your hair loss slows down like mine did.

Regarding restricted. I had one EVERY day! That and a bag of crisps, which some clinics still try and say is restricted. I had an overall average loss of 3 lbs a week. Those two items kept me from cheating. Enjoy them! The weight loss is already quick.

Mine is through a Chiropractor's office . . . and while I'm happy there, I'm just wondering if it's just a way for him to make a little $$ outside of his practice. It sounds like those going to a "center" have more coaching and one-on-one.
Where I go for IP is not medical in anyway. It's actually a hair and nail salon. They have a room in the back where the IP foods are and that's where they weigh people.

WI today was 4 pounds. Compared to last weeks 0.4, I am happy.

I have midterms this week, and I have to admit the anxiety from it makes me want to turn to food. My goal this week its to get thru the week without hiding from my emotions in a bag of candy. Old habits really do die hard. Good thing I had a good weight loss week to help keep me motivated.

Thanks everyone for the hair loss support. I'm really hoping my body readjusts before I go bald. I've always had really healthy hair that grew really fast - so this has thrown me for a loop a bit. But, it is only hair - it grows back.

I have been having major hair loss as well lately. I have been on the diet since April, hit my goal and enjoyed the summer too much. Back at it again but am very worried about the hair loss as well. I know I am not under stress so think it is the diet. After phase 4 I went up 5 pounds so this time plan a goal of 5 pounds less than my actual goal. Hard at it but hope the hair stays on my head more as well.

Yay! Congrats.

On the subject of hair loss, has anyone tried those clip in sections of hair to bulk it out or do you just live with it until the hair follicles recover?

I experienced the hair loss when I lost 40lbs a year + ago. It grew back just fine after I was done losing and maintaining. I did, and still take biotin.

Congrats to all the great WI and hitting goals!

Does everyone have hair loss? is biotin the only thing you need to take to help that?
