Very helpful thread. I asked my coach off the bat about whether I could use other vitamins and she gave me the expected purity talk. I think I'm going to figure out some other options for when my first bottles are done.

I absolutely detest fish so the IP Omegas have been extra gross for me. I had one of my cats sniffing around tonight trying to figure out where the small was coming from.

Have any Canadians found good online sources?

Hi SarahBee, I like Natural Factors & Jamiesons - they are the ones I use since they are Gluten Free and have generally good reviews. Natural Factors have organic herb fields very near us and my BIL has worked for them for many years - I met the founder of the company many years ago and he was a pretty honest and responsible guy.

Thanks for the bump Ariel13! My vitamins are starting to run out and I need to stock up before moving. Looks like I'll be doing some research in store tonight!

Liana,
could you please list the vitamins that you take as alternatives. I have been thinking of getting alternatives too but didn't know where to begin! This is a great thread and I appreciate the guidance. It would make it so much easier to just go and buy them from the shelf if I just have the names. PM me if you don't want to share here on the thread please. thankyou!

THANK YOU THANK YOU karkrazy13 for mentioning Swansons - I just bought all my vitamins there and was shocked at the cost savings!

Thanks for this advice. Once I finish up my first month's supply of IP vitamins, I am going to follow your lead and order from Vitacost. I really appreciate your post!

Any chance you can let me know where you found your enzymes? I've been looking for an alternative! Thanks!

I have recently begun taking Krill Oil instead of Fish Oil. Has Omega-3 and is supposed to be more beneficial for relieving PMS symptoms (just started taking them a couple of weeks ago so have no clue if it's true

Bumping because I'm wondering if others can post their comparable vitamins. I know there are spreadsheets with comparable alternative foods. Does that exist for the vitamins?

I don't know if there's a spreadsheet, but here's what I took in P1:

1. Equate (Walmart) multivitamin for adults 50+.
2. GNC Censor - Omega 3s with krill oil
3. NOW cal/mag/Vit D/zinc
4. Country Life potassium (ordered from Amazon)
5. Biotin - some brand from Walmart; bought these to prevent hair loss but they didn't work.

I never took enzymes.
