Really felt awful.
I am sorry to hear this. It's funny - as I was logging my entries on the 25 by Fall/Halloween, I was thinking about how amazing you are. FWIW. You rock. I am happy you are here, sharing your insight, information and experiences but I am sorry someone was disrespectful to you and your colleagues. That bites.

Same here, Sarita. I had a 1.6 loss this week. Next week will be better though!

Hold it right there
"ONLY" is a four letter word around these parts.
A loss is a loss and any loss is to be celebrated.

Let's look at your AVERAGE weight loss for the time you've been IP.
Mine for a whole friggin' year (including plateaus) is 1.8/week but it adds up to 95 lbs. Is that "only"? (I remember diets I was losing 2-3 lbs/MONTH!!!)

Still disappointed?
Would another diet be better?
Probably not. IP rocks.

I had to hear this kind of pep talk more than once & have had to remind myself of it many times when the scale completely STALLED (or went up )

Be HAPPY for your losses Big and small. They are all good and they all add up. Some weeks our bodies are adjusting. Celebrate the losses!

Here's a funny to end the day - after the good WI today, I "treated" myself to a strawberry wafer snack bar and a cup of raspberry tea tonight for my snack. Except I realized after I drank it that I made a cup of raspberry black tea, not my regular herbal stuff. At 8 at night. So, I should probably still be wide awake and bouncing off the walls for the next 4 or 5 hours

Thank you. I needed this more than you can imagine. I have been really frustrated as I am scared about being P1 forever, failing or what not. It is helpful to hear and you are always such a champion of those of us who are down on ourselves. Thank you.

WI today = 0. Bummed but I know I didn't get my water in most of the week and I spaced dinner pretty far from lunch and didn't eat until pretty late over half the week. And I didn't measure my veggies, I don't think I ate enough of them. But at least it wasn't a gain! So we're buckling down and doing it right this week. I know the scale will move down next week.
