Thank you! I've been trying so hard to do everything exactly right I was worried I'd screwed something up! Although I really didn't think it would make a huge difference.

Today was so hectic right now my thinking resembles a squirrel trying to cross a busy street!

I have my WI tomorrow and I actually did my menu for the next 8 days and printed off a list of what I needed so I don't get caught short again, plus I like having a set plan so I know exactly what I'm eating each day.
Some of us even pre-planned so well for a while that we put our 3 daily packets in ziplock bags labeled for the day s of the week.
This REALLY helped me the first 6 weeks or so on plan.
As others have said, you're fine with no restricted (unrestricted instead) but you'll feel better on a daily basis WITH it.

That's a great idea Lisa, thanks!

And I will now quit worrying about it.

Really pleased though that my acid reflux seems to have really slowed down - only having to take medication for it every other day instead of every day. Bonus!

Bummer - I just bought 2 bottles of it and hadn't used any yet. Just wanted it on hand in case I got bored with water. Have to see if it has the same effect on me.

Mio is not sweetened with aspartame, it uses sucralose as the sweetener.

LOL that's my favorite one! I've become a big fan of the Crystal Light drops too (those are also sweetened with sucralose, some of the CL powders still use aspartame).

Work has been nuts and because of that I have not been able to coma and check my favorite site that much. I am hoping everyone is doing well. As Pattie has said spring has finally sprung here in Saskatchewan, and so yesterday I took my Dogglers on there first hike on this new year out to the our "happy place" which is the hiking trails outside of town that are used for cross country skiing in the winter. Talk about noticing a difference in myself, with 100lbs less to hike around it was even better then usual. No huffing and puffing, no having to stop for sore knees or hips, I LOVED IT!! Only thing I did notice is that even with the extra pack I have to be careful not to over do it as I can get dizzy feeling ( and that is not so good if you are 30min walk from your vehicle and near nothing in the Forrest, lol). I think I ma going to have to be more careful all around in the summer because I am starting to realize I was much more active especially with my dogs in the warmer months then I had originally thought. Just another reason for me to stay 100% so that I can get to my goal and then be as active and exercising as much as I want without a second thought and the stamina to do it

Happy Nurse Appreciation to all you wonderful nurses!!!!

Question for folks: I am supposed to go out to dinner tonight and a Chinese restaurant has been selected. Any tips on how to stay OP? I was thinking maybe ordering Egg Foo Young? Or I will ask if they can just stir fry some chicken and veggies with no sauce? Egg Foo Young sounds good, but I am a little wary since the soy sauce probably would have gluten.

Personally, I would avoid the Egg Foo Young...I don't think you can be sure exactly what's in it. There may be water chesnuts, bamboo shoots, etc that aren't allowed along with possibly some flour and/or other forbidden ingredients.

I always ask for broccoli and white meat chicken steamed plain (emphasis that) and add soy sauce on my own.

Some of us STILL do that, even eight months later, lol. Of course, I pre package everything, and then decide I want something else that day and have to rearrange my packages.

I like those too. Pomtini is my favorite. I also like the Kool-Aid liquid drops to use with my SodaStream.
