I made it and didn't cheat at all. Was a good day, I did miss my Mom's stuffing but I can make it after IP.

So here's my report.

I had 2 eggs for Thanksgiving brunch at my MIL's with 2 slices of bacon. I then had an EAS shake and water mid-day.

My husband and I went to a restaurant called Chima for dinner, it's a churrascaria - they bring you all you can eat meats on skewers.

I was mostly good. I had asparagus, broccoli and lettuce from the salad bar, with a wee bit of bleu cheese.

I had a bunch of different meats, including turkey, but maybe about 10 oz total. I cut around any fat or gave it to the husband, and had one glass of white wine and lots of water.

Could have been better, but it could have been so much worse. I feel good about the choices I made.

when I reach maintenance my first cheat day is going to be a Thanksgiving Dinner. I don't care if it's the hottest day in the middle of summer, I am roasting a turkey, making sweet potatos and stuffing and baking a pie.
I was 100 % OP today.
Whew
It was harder than I thought it would be.

I'm thankful for all my Canadian friends here who talked the talk and walked the walk, showing us that we are stronger than our holiday food demons. Thanks for leading the way!

Im thankful for all of the Canadians who had Thanksgiving the month before the U.S. and got me planning way ahead for my Thanksgiving. It takes me a while to get my thinking straight on all of the holiday eating

Woo hoo!!! Made it the whole day 100% OP!!!! Some of my family members looked at my plate funny when I covered the turkey with the Mushroom puree, but it was SO GOOD. Had my roasted rutabaga, and roasted some asparagus before we ate. YUMMY. During dessert, I ate a Heath Wise chocolate chip cookie (my brother stared at me saying "That's DIET food???) and enjoyed a coffee with everyone. I probably went over the portions a little with the veggies, but I enjoyed the dinner, and am NOT WORRIED about my next weigh in! Yay!

Hope everyone had a safe and happy holiday!
