Enjoy your turkey day, Rainbow and all. I've been looking for snow in Ohio for you, but I'm not finding it. There is 50% on Friday and 40% chance forecast for Saturday for the cottage though. You'll just have to detour up into Michigan.

I don't know why but this goofy Turkey makes me giggle every time!
Today I'm making one of Liz' veggie purées for gravy, some cauli mash, and the rutabaga faux sweetpotato for dessert. I'm taking my own sides to eat with Turkey. Hubby has requested green beans with bacon (one of my fav Atkins recipes) so I'm taking that for everyone else. Nothing easier than steaming green beans, frying bacon, and combining the two pans!
My hostess was a bit concerned at first that I was bringing my own sides. "You can't have the green beans? We'll eat them however you make them. Make what you can eat." Then I told her I don't even like plain steamed green beans (unless they are über-fresh), I wasn't subjecting everyone else to them.
So I said I'd bring a veggie tray, too. She loved that idea. And THEN I saw this on Facebook:

I'll post the pic of mine later.
I love this veggie tray!!! Wish I would have seen this a few days ago so I could copy it!!!!! HAPPY TURKEY DAY EVERYONE!
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I'm very thankful for this IP forum and all of you who make it what it is. You make this journey easier, hope everyone has a great day filled with all kinds of blessings.
Happy Thanksgiving all! I am also VERY, VERY thankful for all the support and friendship you all give me!
I weighed in 1lb shy of my Thanksgiving mini-goal (curse you, TOM!) but it's all good because I've come so far! And for those who followed yesterday, I didn't get my smaller jeans yet. I decided to wait for the $15 Old Navy jean sale since I don't plan to wear them long
Off to wrangle a turkey now!
Hope you all have a blessed, peaceful, and joy-filled Thanksgiving Day!

Thank you all for the support and help you provide. I hope you enjoy your Thanksgiving and are not too challenged staying on plan. I am already front-loading my veggies this morning.
