I'm in dire need of new jeans as I no longer have any that fit. Guess I'm going to have to break down and go shopping soon, but I really don't want to until I'm completely where I want to be. We have 5 bags of clothing for charity (my DH cleaned out his closet as well) sitting at the curb for pickup.
soooo...I have a job interview tomorrow.
I tried on 6 different suits I own.
3 are so big they went straight to the donate/take to consignment shop pile.
2 are a little snug. They have NEVER fit. I bought them when I was on Atkins b/c I was going to fit them "someday". That someday will probably be next month!
ONE suit sort've works. The top isn't too big (it's a jacket/top that I'll wear buttoned as a jacket). The pants are huge. If I pull them all the way up to my bra band (!), then with the top over them, you can't tell.
It'll work for the first interview. (I think I need suspenders underneath! LOL)
I certainly don't have options for subsequent interviews... One day at a time...
I didn't actually wear this in public today But while sulking over the North Face jackets that are now too big (such an expensive problem!) I came across this one. It is a BOYS XL, I don't even know why I have it or where it came from, I don't even have kids! Couldn't stop laughing and I'll have to keep this one. It is a little snug in the hips, naturally.
Nice find!!! It looks good on you, and you didn't have to buy something new.

Not sure if you have a Kohl's near you, but they have had some great sales on the Apt 9 mix and match suits. I bought a suit jacket and a couple of pairs of pants for a conference I went to earlier in the month. I wear the pants all the time for work, so it's not a total waste buying new.

Oh wow! That could work! With the right pants and a black dress, I can mix/match jackets to get me thru. Not sure how many interviews there are to the job nor how many I'll get. One day at a time!

Beautiful shoes Monica! My twin sister wears heels every day.....I have some boots with a bit of a heel but usually prefer flats although looking at some of your new shoes I'm thinking I should start practising too lol.
Monica, love the shoes! I like where the strap crosses your foot, very slimming. I don't like to wear shoes with straps across my ankles, so might have to try a style like you have.
Today I am wearing Underwear that fits, doesn't slip down under my stomach anymore, cause the stomach is now flat. Sports bra that doesn't bind anymore, a too large tank and my favourite pair of ragged jeans cinched up with a belt. I am painting again today!
