Does anyone get cold, or chills on IP? I have found that weeks where I lose more weight I tend to be colder, and sometimes get chilled. I thought maybe it was the extra ice water.
I don't want to have to bundle up like Ralphie's little brother from Christmas Story. It kind of defeats the purpose of being on a diet.
I've found I've had a few days where I alternated between freezing and shivering to sweating profusely - like cold sweats. My sister (also on IP) has had this happen too.
Yes, you are losing all of that fat that so insulated your body and kept it warm. I can remember when sweat was just pouring down my forehead and everyone else was perfectly comfortable. Now that I have lost weight, I am the one chilled but happy to put on a TIGHT sweatshirt (gotta show off my new body now) Trust me, it will all be worth it. Just love IP and the people that are on this site.

I used to always be hot, then I started IP. I think it is a combination of things. We're burning fat, which actually heated me up at first. I'm getting colder now but I have PLENTY of insulation. Our bodies are going through changes. So, I use a sweater or jacket and I drink more warm drinks (including herbal teas)

So I guess another side effect is sweating? I will have to look forward to that, and recurring nightmares about giant buttered baguettes.
DakotaClyde - now that you mention it, I do get weird dreams too... I've been 100% OP for six weeks and really haven't been tempted to cheat - other than the occasional twinge over cheese - but anyway, I keep dreaming about eating foods that totally aren't part of the program. Sometimes it takes a bit to convince myself when I wake up that it was all just a dream. I wake up thinking I'm going to be out of ketosis... how strange.
I'm chalking it up to my fat cells memories... LOL.

GroovyCat- That is so true. I am not tempted during the day typically. However, in sleep I am haunted by baguettes, butter, bacon, and an occasional sheet cake. You may be right, fat cell echo's.

Hi Maezy1!
If you are from Baton Rouge, you surely have a few beignet goblins! I can't even think about Louisiana without gaining weight.
Re: Peanut Butter. Could you get some peanut butter extract and add it to one of the puddings? Is that allowed?
