and the phase off begins... my coach was adamant about going to phase 2 starting today, even though i wanted to lose 5 more pounds. i guess i should be thankful that i have someone looking out for my best interest (i've changed my goal twice already, giving myself a lower goal weight).
i'm excited to get back to "normal eating." it's just crazy that i've made it this far and i'm phasing off for real this time *not a short vacation phase.* WOW thank you all so much for the info, support, and encouragement (oh and the recipes too!!!) i'm really not sure if i could have done it without you all. i know you all can do it too! just stick to it, even through the rough weeks.. everything will even out and you'll have incredible losses in a short amount of time!
on another note, i was having some small issues with the big C lately... so i upped my salad intake slightly.. that seemed to help a little bit.. but i drank "CALM" last night and this morning got relief.. not cramping-bloating-too much bathroom time... but a good "clean" feeling from the inside. i highly recommend it
First congratulations I can't wait to be at that point! That's awesome!!
My question is...what is Calm...is it tea and which brand. My fiance is on the diet with me and he has serious issues with the dreaded C.
Its a powdered supplement. You can get it a GNC, or a vitamin store or even Whole Foods. They dont keep it in any laxative section though, so ask for it by name.
It comes in a few flavors. I have the Raspberry lemon. You basically stur in at least 1t into very hot water, watch it fizz up, then drink it.

I am real nervous about my WI tomorrow. #22 for me. I have struggled the last month and a half and really have been busting butt trying to get this thing dome the last few weeks. I really have been slow motioning at 1 - 1.5 lbs a week for a while.
I am hoping to enter the 140s tomorrow so I am able to get to Phase 2 the next week. I will be headed on vacay on June 13 and really could use the normalcy of Ph2. Normal compared to Ph1...
Hello my fellow IPer's...Hope everyone is have a great OP day!! Went for my weigh in today and lost 2.25pds and my coach said next week i should be able to move into Phase 2....such exciting news and so close to my goal. I'm feeling so much better, I am so very thankful that IP has saved my life and has made me a happy and healthier person!!!
Not sure if this is the right place to ask this, so please let me know if I am doing something wrong.
My coach told me to eat within 1 hr of waking and to not eat 3-4 hrs before bed. Is this true? I haven't been able to do this and not sure if this will start to effect my weight loss. I have been OP for 5.5 weeks and have lost 18.8 so far?
I'm curious about this too - My weekday routine is: I get up at 5:30 and eat at 8 at work. I'm usually hungry at 10:30 and have 2 egg whites, packet & 1 head romaine at 12 - 12:30, veggies around 3 -4, dinner (protein, veggies & 1 head romaine) at 6, and snack 8:30 - 9. Bed is 9 - 10. Weekend routine is varied depending on what we're doing.
I thought I read somewhere that we were supposed to have our snack pretty close to bed to get us through the night. If I had it 3 - 4 hours of bed, I'd be eating it with my dinner!
Hi everyone! Just moving in Phase 2 of ip!! Great success so far lost 25lbs and 14 inches. Day 2 of Phase 2 and feeling quite tired just can't shake it? Any advice? Anyone else go thru this? I am thinking of staying in phase I now.......I did golf 18 holes with cart yesterday so maybe my body is just tired?

After taking Calm in the morning do you only go once or twice or is it a all morning long thing. I work so I can't be running to the bathroom every 15 minutes or so. Thanks.

Good morning from wonderful windy Wyoming. I only have a minute to check in, but wanted to tell you my NSV. My clothes I keep here in Wyoming for work do not fit. They fell off!!! I had to go shopping last night I am officially a size 8. Haven't been that size since my senior year in High School. I feel so proud of myself.
I must have done something wrong then Mine was mushy, i fried it in EVOO according to a recipe I found and it did not come out that great.
First, NO EVOO. All you do is grate it up into small "rice" size pieces and put in a dry hot skillet. Don't cover it! Then stir occasionally. One of my faves and I make it all the time (about 3-5 times a month since cauliflower has a bit more carbs). I like in as fried rice with eggs, chicken, mushrooms, and soy sauce. Or just as a side with garlic salt or again soy sauce.
