Good afternoon fellow IP'ers. I would like say welcome to all the newcomers and congratulations to everyone on their weight loss and NSV. My thoughts are with all that are struggling with some issues this week . Hang in there, this is a great program and it will eventually all catch up and get going for you again.I have tried other programs, and have never had the success as I have had with IP. I also sometimes have gotten frustrated with my weight loss when I have done everything right, ate on plan and do not see a loss, and my DH who is in Phase 3 with 4 days to go until maintenance, looses another 1.5 pounds. I just have to stay off the scale, which I have been doing lately and this has helped with my some of the frustration. I am also surprised seeing him eat the food he is eating now, toast, Peanut Butter, fruit isn't bothering me like I thought it might, but I will admit I am looking forward to getting to that phase, but for now just waiting patiently to get there to have it.I am so glad to have this sight to come to, it has helped me through a lot of things. Just reading everyone's posts and seeing what works and doesn't work, advice for others and everyone's thoughts for the day just seems to make this journey so much easier.
It is a very windy day here in Saskatchewan, suppose to be nice and warm again by the weekend.
Have a great day everyone!!!
Hey Ladies,... I had my WI yesterday.... dow 4.4! Ill Take it!!
Congrats to you! And all of you Wednesday weighers!!!
NSV...today I've been grumpy, Tom is already showing his signs...
well, today I was walking around campus and our H.S. PE Coach asked if I'd been working out, (I usually always say yes, cause i used to always workout, not so much on this plan)... So I told him no, not really too much but I am doing an ideal protien diet. And he said, well the loss shows and you are looking buff. woohoo. that's nice.
Good for you! You are one of very few that I've seen on here lose in phase 2. Keep it up!
Yes,I am feeling really lucky about now!!
When I started this weight lost journey 2.5 years ago I weighed 187.5 lost 27 at WW...Worked out religiously for 6 months 5 times a week,a hour to two a day, maintained up to 7 weeks ago and,all I can say is,WOW!!Cannot believe how IP worked so fast for me..
Hello all IP'ers!!!! Quick question to the Canadians.... I'm looking for Spray Butter, either from Becel, Parkay, Bestlife or I cant believe...not butter. Used to be able to buy it at Save-on-foods but not no more, right now I have to get people who travel south of the border to grab me some. I NEED MORE..... lol, please let me know if you know where to get them now......

I have been soooo busy for some reason. I have had no time to spend on 3FC! I'm having withdrawals and I just wanted to stop and drop a quick hello so hi! I'm trying to keep up w/daily chat but I haven't read any of today so maybe later tonight I can catch up. I did update my ticker and wi on the Halloween challenge. (I'm going 5 under goal before going to Ph3) Mother in law gave me some Swai to try so that is what's for dinner. Has anyone had it? Going to do a lemon garlic method I think. Have a great day everyone!
Wow! I just realized I have seriously been shorting myself on protein. I was just thawing out one fillet per night, but tonight finally remembered to get new batteries for my food scale and realized that 1 fillet was only 3.5oz!!! My goodness, I had no idea. I have two for tonight and weighed together they're only 6.7ounces, Should be an extra yummy dinner!!
OK. Here is the reason that it isn't just about the numbers on the scale. I went to the doctor for follow-up after blookwork a couple of weeks ago. Note: I take no meds, other than Synthroid (for thyroid) & Zyrtec (allergies)
BP was 110/60 (mine has always been low)
total Cholesterol = 168 (down from 220 last year)
Triglyceride = 65 ( down from 101)
HDL =47 (actually stayed the same)
LDL = 108 (down from 130 which is still low risk)
the printout from the lab said that my LDL/HDL is 1/2 average risk when compared with peer group. and I am at the very lowest risk for coronary disease.... Now those are numbers!
Yes, I don't sleep well, even before IP, but it has gotten worse, should be just temporary.
I am just so happy, my doctor was amazed at my numbers, she is a little, tiny woman & vegatarian and she said my numbers are better than hers and I am over 10 yrs. her senior.....
Had my WI#7 today...down 2.2... going into second week of phase 2!! So excitedthis diet gave me my life back...went from 159.9 to 140. in 7 weeks,I love you IP!!!
Soooo excited. The woosh fairy came to Louisiana and visited the clinic I weigh in at. I lost 5.4 pounds this week and now I am officially out of the 200's. I can finally say that I have lost all of the weight i gained from my first pregnancy 16 yearss ago. Walking on a cloud.
