ebb&flow I'm still amazed that my cheek bones actually exist! I haven't seen them since I was 15! Before, people always "got" that I was Irish - chubby, white and whiter. :P Now that I have my cheekbones again, people don't think I'm so crazy when I brag on my Cherokee heritage!
TheCandEs, sugar hangovers are terrible. I get that nasty anxiety after I indulge, knowing I'll pay for it in short order.

Good Calories, Bad Calories by Gary Taubes (his newest Why We Get Fat is a less-dense overview of what he talks about in GCBC)
In Defense of Food by Michael Pollan
The Paleo Solution by Robb Wolf (or The Paleo Diet by Dr. Cordain for more science-y stuff)
I <3 Paleo because it doesn't approach things as "one size fits all." You start with a framework for eating and adjust it to meet your needs.
