Congrats to your Dodgers Gary...and the giants lost. That makes it even sweeter.
My DH and I went to a game last night. The Jacksonville Suns (Dodgers AA) vs. the Montgomery Biscuits (Braves AA). Unfortunately, it was a blow-out (12-5). But where else could you see a ballgame, a fireworks show, and a Christian concert (Avalon) for only $8.50!
Ennay: I hope that A-rod rocks for you today...just as long as the Yankees lose!

OK, but I was NOT pleased when he coughed it up on my Peavy's 16K's.
I just love the D-Backs walking Bonds 3 times in one game!! Haha for him.
Little whining now: Why are the cards losing against the blankety-blank Cubs??? It looks like they are pulling out then blamo. Oh, well, such is baseball.
Yea for Dodgers!
Josh Hancock, RP STL
News: St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Josh Hancock was killed in a car accident, the team announced Sunday morning. The Cardinals said they were told of the 29-year-old reliever's death by the St. Louis Police Department. The team's home game against the Chicago Cubs on Sunday night was postponed.
Thanks for the link Clydegirl. Was wondering what the postponment was about. Just got home from work. How tragic. Will say some prayers for his family and friends as well as my cards.
So my Rockies are not doing as well as I had hoped, but the game today was awesome. Walk-off HR in the 11th, not to mention the unassisted triple play in the 7th inning!!!!
I had never seen a triple play before, so that was awesome! It's only the 13th unassisted triple play in major league history, and it's my team!!! And a win we needed badly. On the good news front, we've yet to be swept this year! You have to cheer for the little things sometimes!
