On another site I go to, I was given two recipes that were good. One I have tried and love, and the other is intriguing and I want to try.
The first is basically a flour roux, blended with low fat or skim milk and broth, and flavoured with a bit of parmasan and spices to simulate an alfredo sauce without all the fat and calorie of a real alfredo sauce. I love it, and it has made some great pasta sauces for me, as well as vegetable sauces.
The second is making popsicles with diet jello, and milk replacing the cold water in the mix instructions for jello. Sounds intriguing and I wonder if it has that creamisicle taste to it.
