Default What are your essential diet foods?

For me:

1. Baked chicken, marinated in Dale's seasoning sauce (not really a "sauce" -
more the consistency of A1 steak sauce). Yum!
2. Grilled talapia. I get packs of it really cheap at Walmart.
3. Steamed broccoli with parmesian cheese sprinkled on.
4. York Peppermint Patties. A nice sweet treat at only 140 calories each. I
get a box of them at Sam's Club for about $18.00.

Oh yeah - a 7-11 apple fritter every morning for breakfast. They're 400 calories, but all that bread and sugar keeps me until lunch. And I stay under 1600 calories a day. It's my yummy treat!

Also, Pop-Secret butter-flavored popcorn. 100 calories per bag, and after it's done I spray it with butter-flavored Pam and add salt. Gives it that real buttery-flavor.

Oh great idea for a thread. I am fairly new at this, but so far:

Low fat cheese portions (mini Babybel or slices)
Turkey frankfurters
Tinned pulses
Tinned potatoes
Tinned tuna
Green beans (frozen)
Ingredients for dressings / sauces (high-quality olive & sunflower oil, lemons, various vinegars sea-salt, fresh garlic)

Ham & Turkey (mesquite turkey), both Oscar Mayer.
Pickles !!!!!!
Diet coke & sweet tea (I make my tea, very little sugar 22 calories for 1.5c)
Doritos JACKED UP chips. I love these. they are huge chips and a serving has less calories than a lot of baked chips! same serving size - 1oz. I like to put just 3 on my sandwhiches, so I have half a serving. A serving is 130.
Fat Free Kraft American cheese
Light Castlewood Baby Swiss cheese
natures own light honey wheat bread - mmm! this bread is super soft and good ! 40 calories per slice, lowest I've found !
No sugar added fudge pops
Homestyle chicken noodles - Campbell's- I drink the broth and give the noodles to fiance
light hidden vally ranch - I only use half a serving, 40 calories
boneless skinless chicken breast & thighs (120 & 110 cals from SAMs club)
sirloin steak ( 220 per 4oz, one of the lowest cals I found that still taste great grilled. I usually have 6oz paired with veggies)
tilapia fillets, pan fried
Pork - pork shoulder roast for pulled pork, pork ribs for shisksbobs ( the country style ribs at walmart are only 140 calories!)
tai pei chicken eggrolls - omgggg these are SO GOOD. 120 calories each. I have them with a lean cuisine and salad. mmm.
lean cuisine mushroom mezzaluna ravioli - omg. so good. I will lick the container if no ones around. I have several of these a week.
skim milk

- turkey bacon
- avocados
- fun size candy (usually kit kats)
- almond milk
- greek yogurt
- eggs
- turkey burgers

The fun size candy bars have really kept my chocolate binging in check. As long as I know I can have a little bit, I don't go insane.
I work out because I know I would have been the first to die in the Hunger Games.
