KattoS I looked up zumba videos on youtube and I was so shocked and excited to see them!!! The ZUMBA Sistas videos are pretty good I also got hooked on a LB Kass for Danzenergy they are pretty good too!
So I haven't posted anywhere in a while I have been working on getting my kiddo on a sleep schedule and SUCCESS!! She now wakes up between 7 and 8 am and I am glad to have most of the day ahead of me unlike before where we would wake up at noon! and most of the day is gone well with that being said I have lost .2 pds yay me a very small loss but at least I finally saw something below 186.8 XD

I'm glad I found this thread!
My husband bought the DVD set for me a 2 weeks ago. I started off with the Basics (to learn the moves of course) and cannot leave the Cardio Party! I have a calorie watch that monitors the calories burned by your heart rate. I burn, at least, 720 calories with each Carido Party session!! I am absolutely addicted! I haven't been able to use the "maracas/ weights" that came with the set because I haven't tried anything past the Cardio Party routine. LOOVVVEEE ITTTT!

I love Zumba also. Unfortunately I have bad knees and it really hurts when I do it. I still want to do so I may go to a class once a month. I went yesterday and 2 days later I'm still paying for it.
I don't even do it as hard as I can I kind of mock the steps but its all the shifting back and forth that does it.
Well to my surprise my daughter gave me Zumba for the Wii . I'll have to give it a try. They told me they had to look everywhere for it because it was sold out.

Rumba
our YMCA has a pay as you go option so you can take a zumba class for $10.00. If you ever get a chance try a class. It's great. I will say it definitely depends on the teacher. There are 2 teachers at my Y that are really really good and there class is always PACKED!

I went to a class last night on a whim .... really enjoyed it ...
Think I may try one of the DVDs now .... one thing for sure though ... I certainly wouldn't like to watch a video of myself doing it!!

Can I join too???? I just ordered Zumba but it probably won't arrive until the end of the week or the first of next week. I've been watching clips on Youtube . . .
I love latin music, (my roommate is Mexican) and I've been trying to get him to take me dancing, but I know he won't teach me anything. I know Zumba isn't exactly Mexican dancing, but I think it's really close . . . either way
I'm in . . . I have a bad knee too, but just my right knee, but I think it's tolerating more as I'm losing weight . . . (I hope)

I've started doing Zumba last week and absolutely love it! I am having a problem with my feet. I currently use my running shoes (Saucony) to do my Zumba. My feet, specifically, my arches are killing me during the routine. Does anyone have a recommendation for athletic shoes?
Thank You!

What kind of flooring are you dancing on? I can give you shoe advice but I need to know where you are dancing and on what kind of floor.

ZUMBA!!
My videos should arrive tomorrow . . . I'm soooooooooo excited and my neighbor just got Zumba for her Wii. We did the 20 minute workout . . . I'm loving it and so excited to be able to do it at home !!!!!
I'll have to admit, I'm a bit sore and I'm not sure if it is because I bumped up my workouts a little or because I did the zumba last night . . .
Either way I'm excited to do cardio party, flat abs and whatever else is in store for me . . .
How is everyone else doing with the Zumba????
