I hope this doesn't sound stupid, but how do you do a walking work out tape at home? Do you walk in circles?
Or do you use a treadmill?
Haha, sorry. I'm really curious.

Hey!
Thanks for asking I was wondering the same thing
I just bought the dvd with walking belt yesterday, thinking I could do it on the treadmill...I also saw one with sand gloves and another one with stretch band.
I wanted to buy another one to alternate, but I can't decide...
Any suggestions are welcome.

Thanks for the info! I actually mentioned this to a girl at work, and she said 'Oh, is it walking with Leslie?' And then she told me the story of how she came home one day to her mom and sister walking in place infront of the tv with exercise bands, haha. I guess it shocked her!
But she said her sister lost about 10 pounds or so.

I used to do a lot of Leslie's tapes! I had one DVD that had a few shorter (1, 2, and 3 mile) walks on it, and once I got in better shape, I'd just combine a few of them to walk longer.
I'm going to take a look at the 5 mile fat burning walk DVD - it sounds pretty good on amazon

Wow, didn't even know she had religious ones as well, I'll have to check em out, thanks (Though not for my regular exercise, I have Jillian Michaels' DVDs and the treadmill for that :/ )

I have an old dvd of her walk at home program, its a 3mile walk and she has other women walking with her from ages 30-60+. I just started her 5mile program where you can do just one mile or two and so on. I have to say that the new dvd (5 mile) I just do the 1 mile (Classic) and I sweat more during that, than I do during her old 3mile program. I love it

Well I love the Leslie Sansone DVD's. I have eight now which includes the 5-Mile Fat Burning Walk. I have been using the DVD's since July 2010 and yes they do work. The workouts are an aerobic workout that start you off slowly, increase intensity and then you have a cool down period. I mix up my workouts with WATP, bicycling, pilates, yoga, and Biggest Loser Walk DVD. I highly recommend the WATP DVD's. I average a 3-Mile walk daily during the week and then try and use a 4 or 5 mile workout on Saturday and Sunday.
Please go to the thread titled, WATP - March Daily Check-In. You can see what workouts everyone is using and can always ask a question.
