I did the 3-mile yesterday, and the 3-mile again today. Well, sort of. I did the 2 mile and then walked in place for 15 min in the dark while waiting for my dd to fall asleep. (She likes me to be in the room). I'm sure the person living below us thinks we are weird...
The semester is finally over!!! YIPPEE!!! Two weeks without school! I'm so excited. I did the 4 mile Super Challenge DVD today and it was much harder than I remember. It definitely works more muscles than the elliptical trainer. I'm going to have to make sure to get in a least 4 miles worth of Leslie's videos weekly in the New Year in addition to my gym workouts.
I've decided to kinda take these two weeks off, since I finally get the chance to rest and be with my family. I'm still going to try and work in as much exercise as possible, but I'm not going to be anal about it. I'll be back to being super anal in the New Year.
I suck at updating you all! I'm loving the 5-day slim down DVD, but unfortunately I haven't been able to do it everyday. I've been visiting with friends, Christmas shopping, and trying to stay warm. Still hovering around my same weight, which makes me happy.
I highly doubt I'll be back before the holidays, so I just want to wish you all a merry christmas/happy new years/happy holiday season! You all keep me motivated, and the support of total strangers is quite lovely! Here's to 2009!
I just bought the 3 mile and 5 mile walks and I am sooo happy that I did! I just finished doing the 3 mile walk for the first time and I loved it! It wa a great workout and I love the people in the video, the music, etc. I really like how "real" people are used in the video people that have lost weight with this program. I have a hard time sticking with videos that are super intense and when everyone in them has a perfect body.
Just about to do the 3 mile walk again. I feel good today, a tiny bit sore but not bad. I can't wait to do the walk again, it was really fun yesterday!

well gang I have absolutely got to get back on track!!!! so i was up at 5 this morning and did 2 miles using the Heart Healthy Walk dvd. I feel better already
I have a question for the early risers, what time do you go to bed in order to wake up so early? Do you eat breakfast before walking or just drink water? I'm starting a class next week that begins at 6am so I'll need to wake up by 5am once a week. I usually wake up at around 8 or 9 am so this will be quite a change.
I walked 2 miles this morning. I used the Walking Down your Blood Sugar dvd.

Liane - I go to bed at 10 pm to be able to get up at 5 when the alarm goes off. If I can possibly get to bed at 9 pm I wake up on my own at 5. I don't eat breakfast before walking - I just don't like having anything on my stomach when I walk, but if I did I would have a nutri grain bar or yogurt or fruit or something like that. But yes I drink water before getting started and then I drink while I'm walking too. let us know how it goes.
I need to start going to bed earlier! Yesterday I was too tired to exercise, I could have pushed myself but I didn't. Today I am going to try and tackle the 4 mile walk!
Finding the thread a little late, but I've been doing WATP's this week as well (have owned it for a while). Today I did the 2 mile 30 minute walk, I've walked a total of 9 miles the last 5 days.
Hey OnlyWoman - I'm on the only woman in my house too. I am surrounded by dear hubby and 2 dear sons. I'm glad you found the thread and CONGRATS on walking 9 miles in 5 days! awesome!

I walked 3 miles this morning. I used the new 5 Mile Fat Burning Walk. I really love this dvd!
