4. Are you happy with this diet plan?
Absolutely. I've never really tried a diet before, mostly because all of the fad diets out there seemed either too unreasonable or too expensive. On the Fat Smash diet I actually feel full all the time and am probably spending way less on food than I normally would. At first I thought giving up cheese, bread, and alcohol would be so hard for me, but it's actually turned out ok.
I realize, though, that I'm lucky to be single. I can't imagine how hard this diet would be if I had children or was in a relationship. I really don't see how any one could eat out, at least on the detox phase, and making "real" food for other people would be too much temptation for me.
I am also spending a LOT of time prepping meals and thinking ahead, which is a good thing. The first long day at school was difficult, because I wasn't well prepared. I don't have access to a fridge or microwave, so I ended up just eating an energy bar and berries. After doing some research though, I found a great energy bar (Greens +), and have two of those and a banana for lunch. It doesn't look like that much, but it definitely fills me up and keeps me working hard during the day.
