I just started walking/working out about a week ago. I've been walking anywhere from 1-2 miles a day. On about the third day I started getting bad ankle pain. My right one hurts more than the left but today was almost unbearable. The pain is an awful burning/tightening sensation. It started at about .4 of a mile and the pain always stops as soon as I stop walking and sit down. It mainly hurts the most around the bone that pokes out. Does anyone have any advice? Walking has become such a great stress reducer for me and I would hate to have to stop because of the pain
. I don't think I've injured it. I have sprained it a little before but it's been a long time since then.
