Delayed muscle soreness? More like surprise muscle soreness!
I've been working out on a regular basis since May-ish. This Saturday I had no plans (was on-call for work in the evening so I didn't make any) so I decided to add a little bit to my workout. Usually I do a round of 30 Day Shred and then run for a half hour OR I run for an hour. On Saturday I did JUST the weights segments of 30 Day Shred, gave myself 3 minute breaks between each and a 10 minute break before running for an hour. No biggie. Sunday was like any other day, I felt good, but ran for only a half-hour because I had some other plans.
Monday morning, I can't MOVE! I'm in so much (muscle) pain across my lower back and down the side of my tummy. It hurts to stand, it hurts to walk! What did I do to myself? Running for an hour is relatively new, but I've done it ~4 times now and have never been sore from it! Could this be nutritional? I've gone through the whites of almost two dozen eggs in the last 3 days so I know I've been eating protein. I ate a whole bag of spinach greens on Saturday, too! Plus I take fish oil pills.
This makes no sense!
