I'm on this combination although i take 200 mg of wellbutrin in the morning and 200 mg at night as well as 60 mg of cymbalta daily! I HATE the Cymalta, i've never been sooooooooo exhausted in my life! I'm weaning of now and it's not easy but i want to go back to just taking the Wellbutrin as i've been on for about 6 years and love it gl, everyone is different, you need to find what works for you.

Mizmizzy I took wellbutrin for several years and continued to eat at my depression/anxiety and was still pretty pissy a lot of the time. Then my doctor switched me to effexor and it helped my anxiety/depression immensely, then I started losing weight and have managed to lose 80+ lbs and keep it off for a year. I sleep better than I have in years which was a big problem as well.

I'm with Laughingcow on this one- I kept referencing "I feel a bit better, I'm not upset, I'm not teary, I can sleep..but I want to kill everyone I am so aggravated!" She explained that the wellbutrin has the Norepinephrine which "boosted" me but it can heighten one's anxiety-resulting in aggravation-MD prescribed Prozac for this "side effect" to see if it helps.

Wellbutrin did wonders for me But what works for me may not work for others... You may have to try a few different medicines/dosages out to see what works for you!

Wellbutrin also helped with my eating... Some doctors prescribe it for people trying to quit smoking because it helps with that craving feeling, I've found that it's helped with my eating, too. (I'm not a smoker!)
