kfunk: It will definitely feel good to declutter and find some new homes for the things we can't fit anymore. I am so ready to be done with this all. And, keep up the great work!
topsy81: I joined in very late this month, as well...better late than never! Haha. Welcome.

I could have sworn I weighed in yesterday, but apparently I didn't. I think my days are still running together a little bit...lol. But, today's weigh-in was down a little more to 228.0 today, despite eating over a 2k calories yesterday due to giving in to a late night snack while watching TV again. I can already tell that is going to be my biggest drawback, so I'll have to renegotiate our Netflix hours again and see if I can adjust that any. That being said, I got my steps in yesterday while out mapping the new neighborhood for my walks. I only got in about 3.5 miles before coming home, but it's a start! I think that helped mitigate my calorie overload a little. Going to try to do better on my water today and see if that will help lessen how hungry I am feeling before bedtime.

Good morning everyone - I'm reading everyone's posts and I can relate to them. It's tougher to loose as we age, go through moves, surgeries, etc.
Opheliaphoenix - 21 months ago we sold everything we own and moved to a different country. It was liberating to down size but a lot of work. Now we just move from country to country with 4 suitcases.
I did better this week with exercise and eating but the weight is the same. Having lots of hot flashes so I'm thinking that might have something to do with it.
We are off to St Vincent's for a few days next week so I will focus on eating salads when we dine out and being that we are in hotel there will not be any tempting late night snacks available.
Ophelia Thank you. You have had a great week getting back on track!! Sounds like you have a good plan in place! I go to bed really early, so luckily I don't have time to get hungry after dinner, hopefully changing up the Netflix hours will help! Nice job walking last night!!
I am also going to be working on getting my water in, I am not very good on the weekends. I am at the office today, so that will actually help my day stay on track!
wantochange Welcome!! Good job working out last week That is by far the hardest part for me. I hope you enjoy your time in St. Vincents!
wanttochange: Oh wow! I bet you felt mentally/physically/spiritually/etc lighter after making that decision and getting it all sorted out! I bet it is so much nicer to travel now, though. One day, I hope to do something like that...probably not going to be able to do it so drastically, but I - if we have a couple more moves like this last one - it may not be too far off from that, lol. Also, enjoy your time away in St. Vincent's.
kfunk: I dream of being able to go to bed early...no pun intended, lol. If it's not Netflix with my husband since we're watching a series right now, then it's our toddler being up and out of bed several times a night. He has insomnia like I do methinks - especially with the "newness" of everything since the move - so it's kind of a damned if I do/damned if I don't situation at the moment. Hoping we will be able to get him back in a routine, so it will help when I am able to switch around the evening times with my husband...we will see how it goes! Haha. And, great job on your water and congrats on the nice drop!
topsy81: Definitely! And, you're doing great!

Weigh-in was 227.6 today. Still struggling with late-night cravings and gave in a little last night, too...my husband is a bad influence, lol. (At least I'd done a 3 mile walk to help out with the calorie range again, as well.) But, I have my whole day of food planned and plugged into MFP already today, so hoping having that mapped out in advance like I used to do will help me stick to the plan more steadfastly.

Ophelia When we moved a couple years ago my kids were 4 and 1.5 and they were the exact same way during the night. It felt like forever at the time, but it was so nice when they settled in again!! Great job with your walk and for planning out todays food, I think that is the best way to help curb other foods from sneaking in!
5 more days to go!! This has been a great weekend for me, and I am so excited about it. It is also my TOM, so it has been nice to see the scale moving.
topsy great job on another pound down!! I am glad you didn't wait until July, it was pretty quiet around here for a while, it is nice to see the 3 of you guys!
kfunk: Great job on the losses, especially during TOM! That is a feat in and of itself, lol.

Weigh-in was 225.6 today. There was no weigh-in yesterday, but I am sure it would have been a gain from an unexpected pizza overload night the night before! Thankfully, I was able to get in about 7 miles out walking on the 25th, because I ended up going out for a second walk in the evening after the pizza, trying to counteract some of the calories. That seems to have helped by this morning, because I was moving downward again. I've been keeping up with at least 3-3.5 miles each walk and will build back up to the 5 mile walks again soon. I've been better about the Netflix snacking and setting aside calories specifically for that without indulging too much. Feeling like I am starting to get a routine back down now.

ophelia Thank you!! You are my hero when it comes to exercise. I am so stinking lazy, but cant help but wonder how much further along I would be if I had started working out closer to the beginning. You are SO close to being back to 222.6!!
