Obsidianbbw: Sounds like you're having a rough morning. Hope you feel better soon. Just recently, I've taken steps towards being an intuitive eater. The process has completely changed my relationship with food! Honestly, it's pretty mind blowing! I might actually make it through TOM without bingeing on junk food.

magistra17: I'm going to follow your lead and try tea at night. Definitely need to look for cinnamon tea when I go grocery shopping this weekend!

love2garden: The late night treadmill walk actually helped with my sleep. I've struggled with insomnia for about five years. So in order to get more than 4-5 hrs sleep, I really have to wear myself out during the day. Only rule is whatever work out I do at night has to be low impact and relaxing.

Dangerouswithcurves, I walk on my treadmill while I watch my soaps. I figure I'm going to be watching them anyway. An exception is when I clean or fold clothes while watching.
Congrats on the 2.5 lbs! Sometimes just one simple change makes all the difference. The only reason why I'm getting my steps in for the day is because I made a deal with myself. If I want to watch anything besides the news, I have to do it while walking on the treadmill or bouncing on my Urban Rebounder.

magistra17 Strawberries instead of Chocolate? Wow, you are gaining control over what you eat.

DangerousCurves 76" If I want to watch anything besides the news, I have to do it while walking on the treadmill or bouncing on my Urban Rebounder. " On your way to the 130's for sure. Our daughter also agrees with you, her sleep is better after going to the Gym late and working out strongly.

She even was at gym at Midnight the day before her birthday and was running on the treadmill as her birthday came at 12:01 am. Slept great afterwards.
Day 1 5754 steps
Day 2 Already well over 5,000 and plenty of day left!
Day 3 2918 (had to rest)
Day 4 6641 (June 6)
Day 5 3812
Day 6 7395
Day 7 4037

Day 9 3880 (sore from gardening.)
Day 10 3879 (June 12, I met my husband on this day on a blind date
years ago.)

Hi all! Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

I'm getting ready to work out soon and then do some Spring cleaning in my garage. Hopefully between the two, I can hit my goal earlier than usual. I'm going out of town tomorrow afternoon so I want to make sure I hit 70,000 steps before I leave.

Thanks everyone for inspiring me to challenge myself. I've had my Fitbit since January, and never managed to string together more than a day or two before turning back into a couch potato. What can I say? Change is good!

I love this thread. It's really helping me. Thanks everybody for all the encouragement.

Blah so I stayed up late last night and didn't bring lunch this morning so that would mean a 4th pause day so I am going to just say I failed that challenge ..I do think without all the health issues I would have been ok, but I learned.

Upside i did cook last night. so restarting and adding some stuff

challenge 1 - stay on plan (3 pause days)
challenge 2 - bring lunch or breakfast to work (3 pause days) Starts tomorrow
only week days.

Dangerous, cleaning your garage should get you there and a clean garage--BONUS! Mine needs to be done soon too. Today I'm painting two outer doors. Sure hope my new perky summer orange looks good. The rest of the house is brown/gray/ muted blue facia.

Mag, you are giving me strength to look at my daily icecream habit(not good). Today I will end supper with dark chocolate and no more, wish me luck.

Love2, Still got muffin top, but I'm sure the situps will help when I start to lose some more pounds. You are being soooo consistant, you must be gaining stamina .

Obsidian, Way to start another challenge right away. YOU can do it!

One day at a time!

Increasing this weeks goal to 37,500 steps per week.
Day 13 today I walked 3/4 mile in very hot sunshine 8:00 am.

Obsidian I have re-started challenge many times before I got this far. Keep trying, it builds our character not to give up.

Diana Orange with brown sound great. That is what I have in our patio brown pots, Orange/red gerber daisys that show up even better agains the green grass. Our ranch home is orange/red brick with brown on all the wood plus on the large addition we put on when Mom came to live with us. She hated brown, but was never outside often to even see it so we refused to paint that addition white as she asked.

Dangerous, Your cleaning job encourages me and this day I will tackle that work room and begin to get some things to trunk of car for Library, Goodwill, or just hit the dumpster before dark.

Mag You passed up your desire for pop cycle? Success.

WE CAN DEVELOP HEALTHY HABITS AND CHANGE FOR KEEPS!!!

Thanks everyone for the support

Love2garden congratulations on being more than half way done.

Challenge 1 Stay on Plan (SoP)/Challenge 2 bring lunch or breakfast (LoP)to work
3 pause days each

June 15 1/21 (SoP)
june 16 2/21 (soP) - 1/21 Lunch. I don't want anything I have in the fridge so I picked up some prepared hamburgers and salad for work.
june 17 3/21 (SoP) - 2/21 lunch
June 18 4/21 (SoP) - (3/21) Lunch - Scale is down and I think I think I've learned I don't need elaborate meals. Quick and easy seem to work better and small diverse meals rather than large pots of stuff I'll get tired of eating.

Garden is the best in June!!! I had one empty place by the trellis and put in annual (for us in zone 6) white Mandivilla to reach up and cover trellis by end of summer, then dig up and toss. tomatoes go in that spot next year.

I just backed up and read several posts that I had missed earlier so I am responding now.

dangerouscurves good luck on the tea. My favorite brand is Tazo. They have a lot of interesting flavors.

love2garden thanks for the encouragement! Your garden sounds wonderful.

Diana good luck with the chocolate!

Obsidianbbw Hugs and encouragement to you! Sending you some
