Welcome to all the new people on here! How awesome to see people setting their goals and reaching so hard for them!

Well, there were unanticipated "surprises" with DD's surgery, but she was still allowed home. I wasn't able to do the gym, but was carrying her throughout the night for restroom and such, so I consider that a pretty good workout and no sleep... but have the weekend to recover, so it's all good. Due to the surprises, the doctor is takes back his optomism of this surgery having helped her... and a knee replacement (which I told them from start I am so again in a 15 yr old) may be unavoidable as we have literally exhausted all other alternatives. My hope is that in a couple weeks, she will work through this pain and she will do better than they believe possible If not, we will take it from there... and I will have the weekend to re-train her on her leg before school starts Monday

I am 1 day off my fitness plan, but have not swayed a millimeter off the nutrition end... that being said, I remain optomistic to my Wednesday weigh-in since I do still have the weekend to juggle in some extra strength training even if it's on the same day as the intense cardio.... who knows... maybe be able to hang right in there at goal even with the obstacles

Aleksandra... It's good not to push yourself, I want to lose fast but as long as I lose 1 lb a week I'm happy, because it's still progress the smaller you get & less you weigh the slower your body will usually allow you to lose. Since you're 5'8, 170 in a normal range your body is making sure you don't lose to much. Now if we could just get our minds to let our bodys know we want to be a certain weight and then it can stop... Lol... That would b helpful! Haha. & yes that's my pic, thank you so much for the compliment!!

RachelAnne... This will be your month to say goodbye to the 130's & hello 120's!! You can do it!! do you keep a food journal? That really helps me

Jeniansmom... Great weigh in this week! Spreadsheet is a great idea! Way to make sure Ur staying on track I like walking at night or mornings when it's cool outside. If u walk to a certain place, you have to walk home or your stuck lol!*

Floriduh... I always try to weigh two days to make sure I catch the flukes! I hate that. *

ItsMyTurn... Keep up the great work!*

TODAYS WEIGH IN: 199 lbs*
(that's 4 lbs since last week, but the 2 weeks prior to this weigh in were only 1 lb losses, which equals to a 6 lb loss in 3 weeks, pretty sure TOM was just messing with my weight for the last few weeks)*

JillNicole - Very common for TOM to throw off my weight, so sure that's what it was for you too It's an evil occurence, lol. You are doing sooooo well! 6lb in 3 wk is averaging 2lb/wk which is excellent!!!!

Thanks for the willpower dust! That errant pound is gone again. I'll stay off the scale now until at least Monday. Back to workout!

JillNicole: CONGRATS!!!! You hit Onderland! I am so happy for you!!!! You have something great to celebrate on top of the upcoming birthday!

ItsMyTurn: I'm sorry the surgery didn't go exactly as planned...I hope it suddenly turns around! Much love!

Hello to all the newbies

As for me, TOM's visiting early this weekend and ofcourse, managed to screw my weigh in grrr. I am +2 as of Fri morning.

We went to Philly Fri to visit my guy's brother and gf. We hit a carnival Fri, the Philly Zoo Sat, and Please Touch Museum today before heading home. The kids had such a good time. That made us have a good one too lol.

I ate so-so: lots of water, lots of fruit, some veggies, but I did have one meal each day that wasn't the best and limited snacks. I got in my work out fri night, but will be starting the 100 rep challenge again tomorrow since i was too tired to do it after all the unpacking and such. I hope all the walking this weekend will count for something.

Have a great week everyone!
