Hey there,
I'm up a pound too! Weekends are definitely my downfall.

Hope you're feeling better Heather. Cramps are the worst!

Heather (and all,) something that can work really well for women with extreme cramping is -- take motrin/advil/aleve before the cycle/bleeding cramping begins and then again when it begins. That can help decrease the inflammation which causes the intense discomfort.

Some people don't like to take medicine but if you are ok with NSAIDs (that motrin type/class of medicine) one can make major inroads in avoiding the big time pain that can come with TOM.

I'm so glad we're not at a new challenge. I really wanted to get back to or even below my start weight:

start 138.5
current 137.5 woo hoo!
goal 133.5

OK, I am officially switching back to my trusty analog scale. I can't deal with the fluctuations in a digital scale that measures to 0.2 lbs and may or may not be broken.

Not to mention the salt I ate yesterday ... but tonight is Pilates and I"m really looking forward to it. And I'm going to make sure to drink my full gallon of water and flush things out (of course I'll spend 1/2 the day in the bathroom, but oh well!)

I posted a gain earlier but I weighed before I went potty (TMI I know...LOL) after I pottied I was back at my 254.....so I didn't gain?????

BUT ...I'm leaving my original post...if I'm at 254 I will be there again tomorrow and will be able to post it....

I joined the July bootcamp and I'm cutting my calories to 1500 a day and uping my exercise. I have already put in 45 min of Tae Bo today...fixing to do my 30 min of strength training while I watch my soaps (Days of Our Lives)!!

Time for me to get serious. Anyone got any tricks or hints to sticking with your workout plan.....I don't have a problem sticking to my walking...but I do the workout videos...but I need something extra other than walking.

I'm trying I'm trying - so frustrating!!

I took my measurements this morning! (every 2 weeks)

Chest: 35" (down 1/2")
Waist: 40" (down 1/2")
Hips: 41" (down 1")
Thigh: 22" (down 1")

so at least something's going - although not as fast as I'd like. I also can see that no matter how much weight I lose I still ain't going to have a waist!!!
Damn rectangle, I am!

Only one pound to go....

Hey Miriam.....just remember when the challenge started you lost weight pretty fast like 4 lbs just like that.....some times if I lose weight fast I don't lose any for a while...I know its hard when you feel like your working your but off and watching what you eat.....but I bet here within a couple of days you have another big woosh like Vikk said.

Hang in there!!

I'm down .5 lbs. I had a crazy little binge yesterday while I was making lunches for my husband. I only ate about a cup of pasta with sauce, but it made me feel icky, so I only had some cantaloupe for dinner. I'm so proud that I didn't just say "I blew it; bring on the cookies!"

Hang in there Miriam. It'll happen! Plus you're getting smaller! I like seeing the scale go down, but I love seeing my measurements go down.

Hey losers!

Oh, prepping food for others leading to the binge monster's lair....
--know it well..

I did sort of the same thing yesterday while giving my kids dinner. I was really hungry and their dinner looked so good (panko tilapia, like fish fingers) so I starting tasting and -- are you gonna finish that?? type stuff. Which lead to other compulsive eating. But the intake wasn't outrageous and I then didn't have 'another' dinner for myself, so it worked out ok-- this time.

I made chicken breast and lots of brocolli in a curry simmer sauce (a la trader joe's) for my husband later in the evening and that's what I will eat today.

start 138.5
current 137
goal 133.5
