Hello ladies! Been quite a while since I was on here. I have been struggling with my weight yet again and miss the accountability that 3fc helped me with. Tomorrow will be day one of my binge free challenge... Wish me luck! Cannot wait to get to know you all!
Welcome back Stephanie! I hope you have a great Day 1!
I'm on Day 7! I haven't had a Day 7 in a really long time, so I'm hoping I can make it through! It's going to be a long day and I'm going to have to face several triggers...but I know I can do it!
Oh, and the scale showed a 2lb loss this week! I guess not binging for a week really does have it's rewards!
Foxxy--I was thinking of doing something to get a single serving, but for some reason I have it in my head that it has to be HOLIDAY themed candy, which generally doesn't come in single serving--from what I've seen. I did buy one Cadbury egg the other day, which was delicious and I really enjoyed it, but now I'm on to an obsession with Reese's--which has always been a HUGE temptation for me.
Last night I ate a really healthy, well portioned meal, and I'm feeling super happy and good about that!
Good morning ladies! looks like everyone is doing great! Welcome back Stephanie! Foxxy congrats on day 7, that's awesome! I am half way there, I am on day 4.. I'm super excited because I've been doing so good all week and last night fought off temptation of Chunky Monkey Ice Cream!! Can someone please tell me why my husband brought a bunch of icecream and other junk food into the house? It was hard to resist but I did!
So i'm starting today feeling great! Good luck today everyone!
Beginning day 4 of abstinence, which for me is eating on-plan foods when I'm hungry, and stopping when I'm not hungry anymore, before I'm actually *full.* This comes out to two or three meals a day, maybe a snack.
I've heard it takes 20 minutes after you've stopped eating for the stomach to register "full." Any truth to that?

I've heard that "20 min to fill full" comment before. For me personally, because of all the binging I've done, it takes closer to an hour for my body to realise I've eaten... so it is a real struggle for me to stop eating once I start.
Some people can eat slowly or pause in the middle of a meal to 'sense' if they are full. I don't have this luxury (yet) because I am not going to pause for an hour! What I do is eat an approx number of calories at a meal and if, in an hour, i am still hungry, I know my snack is about an hour away and i make it until snack time.
I have noticed (and this makes me hopeful) that i never used to feel full at all, then it was like 2 hours, and now it is an hour, so maybe, someday, i'll feel full after 20 min like everyone else!!!
(my trainer weighed me on Monday) i find it interesting that after 45 days of no binging i've only lost 2 lbs. BUT i have lost 2% body fat and nearly 2 inches in 45 days which is WAY cooler to me now!!
MORE than 60 days binge free now!!! i crush day 60 ladies!!! no stopping me now... I am going to 'stop counting' days now and really try to move away from calorie counting...
I am still doing alright this week. I overate on Wednesday but I was in control and I didn't binge. I haven't had any strong urges this week and have been using sugar free hard candies to help keep my mouth occupied during times that tend to be a problem, like when I'm at work or late at night.
