Talking Awesome Chocolate Milkshake - All Phases

Chocolate Milkshake
All Phases. One serving. Recipe by Kathy Sill.

1/2 cup part-skim or low fat ricotta cheese
1/2 to 2/3 cup skim milk
2 teaspoons cocoa powder
3 packets Splenda
1/2 teaspoon caffeine-free instant coffee
Splash of vanilla (1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon, to taste)
Ice (as much as it takes to make a nice thick icy shake)

Put all ingredients in a blender, and blend until thoroughly mixed.

From Tracy:
This was today's breakfast, absolutely satisfying.. thick and smooth YUM!

I used Dutch Processed Cocoa powder for this..
I also added 1 scoop of protien powder for extra nutritional benefit.
I ended up using the 2/3 Cup Skim Milk

*I tried to run this through FitDay.com but it totally confused me *

I made this as written on sunday but found it kind of gritty cause of the cocoa. So I made it today for lunch with sf chocolate syrup. It is much better I think. Awesome either way to be able to have a chocolate milkshake!!

I also made this drink for the first time this am. Very good.

I took 1 tablespoon cocoa and mixed in with the 1/2 cup ricotta. I blended well and let sit overnite. This way the ricotta and cocoa are not gritty. Then in the morning I added 1/2 cup choc almond milk, 1/4 cup whipping cream, 1/4 water, 1 cup coffee, 1 scoop protein powder, 3 splenda. Put in blender with ice. Very good.

Excuse me while I go get a knapkin.. I think I drooled a little while reading this! Minus the Splenda it looks amazing! I'm hoping to start SBD soon so I'm trying to get a jump on recipes, etc and this looks delicious!
