Congrats selway and maryshady!

Doesn't my teeny 0.1 pound loss count?

Congrats to maryshady, Riddy and everyone hanging in there!!!

Well, I could have had a better weekend. Friday I lost consciousness while walking in the bathroom at the gym and 100% face planted on the tile floor. 27 stitches, broken nose, and 4 broken teeth. I have no idea what happened - apparently a little dehydrated. My face really really hurts today - they have to wait for the swelling to go down before they can set my broken nose.

I hope everyone else had a better weekend!!

Hi Folks- I've updated our results- due to a spreadsheet error (my fault)-
I missed Riddy's 0.1 lb loss, so she gets an honourable mention as well.

My apologies once again & thanks for letting me know!

Selway- yikes. How scary...may you heal quickly.

Thanks, Mel! Not that it did much for our average, but it's still a loss.

Oh, selway! How crappy! I hope they at least gave you some good drugs so you can sleep. Feel better!

I started the 2nd week of my couch to 5k today. Surprisingly, upping the running from 60 seconds to 90 seconds at a time was doable. But I know I run slower than I walk because I covered less distance than my last 2 workouts last week. I'm just happy to finish each workout.

So we should be due for a good week, if the trend holds out! We seem to all be ebbing and flowing on the same schedule.

Oh Selway! What a terrible accident. I imagine that's one helluva headache? Hope you heal quickly.

Congats to all the losers and Mel for double checking the spreadsheet

I've got a colonoscopy tomorrow...I sure hope I at least can lose a pound or two.

Hang on to this rollercoaster, we're due for a down week.

Wow, selway, that is awful. Congrats on the loss though!

Good job MaryShady and Riddy. I wish I had lost even 0.1!

They are starting a biggest loser competition at work July 9th. I'm starting to feel some real competitive juices flowing.

So zogo, how much poop did you lose?? Inquiring minds want to know!

C'mon, MonteCristo, you can do it!

I've been SO hungry today! I probably bumped myself out of ketosis over the weekend, and now I'm paying the price going back in. Tomorrow should be better. I almost had a 100-calorie pack of almonds at 4pm, but held out, and just had a few baby peppers before dinner instead.

Keep up the good work, everyone!

Hey Riddy, only half a pound...totally not worth it. But, I only had one small polyp, so that was good news. 6 mos. ago I got a diagnosis of Stage 1 colon cancer when I had my first (50 yr) colonoscopy. Friendly Public Service Announcement: Get your colonoscopy!!!...it could save your life.

Our local festival "Summerfest" starts today. It is 11 days long and the "World's largest outdoor music festival". There will be lots of walking, but also beer and food. I will do my best at staying low carb!

http://summerfest.com check out the lineup! Who would you go see?

Oh, zogo - I wanna go to Summerfest!! I have a friend who just moved back to Milwaukee, and every time we talked music while he lived here, he would wax poetic about Summerfest. One of these years I'm going to go!

You have a pretty fantastic Irish festival there, too. I partied like a rock star there a couple years ago.

Hmm, I would've thought the poop weighed more. Thank goodness you don't have to do THAT again for a few years.

And yee-hah for you, wuv! I think I'm about due for a big week, too.

Hi Gang-
Sorry for being so quiet. This office move, then end of the school year & heading out on a quick vacation tomorrow has thrown me for a loop big time.

Zogo- glad the colonoscopy went well (as well as can be expected for that sort of thing). Summerfest looks awesome. We have a 3 day folk festival here in Calgary, but can't convince dh to go...someday.

Wuv- good job! You must be THE poster child for IP!! You are an inspiration.

Riddy-sounds like you are making great choices- even a 100 cal pack of almonds isn't a bad choice

Selway- How are you doing? Hope the healing process is speedy.

Monte- ooh- 2 biggest loser challenges! Now there's commitment!

I'm heading out early tomorrow morning, but will have email access (I hope).

Have a great day!

Just had the pitch meeting from Hades, but I also lost 2.2 this week. So I guess it's a wash. :P

Zogo - glad the scan went well! Sounds like everyone is having a good week (other than pitch meeting from Hades....).

I am struggling this week. My concussion and broken nose have really limited exercise this week and I have been depression eating like crazy. So frustrating - if I can't exercise I should really watch my diet, but have been eating everything in sight. I don't even know why I am depressed - my face will heal (and a little plastic surgery will help). Maybe it is the control freak in me that is upset - I have only worked 1/2 days this week due to headaches and dizziness, can't do a real workout, have to go to bed before 9 PM....NOT my usual, busy, schedule. Anyway - sorry for the rant, I am pulling it together today and getting back on track! Everyone have a nice weekend!
