I just found out this morning that our stimulus check is going to be paper, on or about June 27th, instead of direct deposited today. We split our refund into two accounts so we're getting a paper check. I plan on buying a storage shed for the back yard.

The Boca burger's were okay, they were tomato, basil and parm flavored. But considering that my nose had been pressed against the ice cream freezer, I made the better choice. It was one of those nights where I was hungry, because I waited too long to eat, but nothing sounded good (except ice cream, which always sounds good to me).

ugh, we had one of those. The handle on the toilet on our main level sometimes sticks. We bought our house in July and didn't move in until mid August. Upon moveing in, we discovered the toilet had been running nonstop, we're assuming since the last time we were there a few weeks earlier. Our first water bill sucked

Our IRS money went to the IRS to pay for this years taxes. Men I would have loved to have had that money to pay off the cruise from last month on my credit card.

Ouch! Kinda like the builders setting up the sprinkler system to go off for an hour every morning before 5....during one of the worst droughts in Georgia's history. I'm fortunate that I didn't get fined, however, the water bill was over $200!!

BTW...all of the new landscaping you're doing?....it probably won't require as much watering as you might think. American's tend to overwater.

I used the money to create an emergency fund, for 'planned' emergencies. Like when we have plates and insurance due in the same month....suddenly we have a huge budget hole and end up using credit. Then we spend another chunk of our budget payinng off the credit line....and it has been a horrible cycle. This month, we had mower repair and the school fundraiser. I KNOW how much I spend every year at this thing, and my plan is to have it fully funded by next year. In the fall, we have the HVAC system checked and serviced....it will NOT be a surprised this year.

We have finished step one, plus some and are on step two of Dave Ramsey:
