Sorry for the post and run earlier! I pulled up the thread and realized i was running late for an appointment so just threw in my weight and called it good.

welcome rdexter!!! It looks like you have a great start! keep up the good work

lulu I am trying to be patient and keep in mind it is either a set point or my body just straight up being stubborn. But my nature is impatient and wanting instant gratification so it is only working so much lol

Like I've mentioned before I'm old school - throw me back to the 70s and 80s - it turns out Walmart does have jeans that I like in my size - they are in the men's department!! HA! I bought a pair of Dickies carpenter jeans W34 L30 yesterday... I can get them on and button them up but have a slight muffin top....so like the Levi's I bought last week they are a stretch goal pant - no spandex!! I am wearing all of my other stretch goal pants now that I saved from 10 years ago. I'm thinking that at 160 my waist will not be smaller than the 34s I have...I think that will be my size will be 14 maybe a 12 but I shy away from form fitting clothes.

YEP Lulu.. PLATEAU/STALL is a 4 letter word! But don't we all experience it! Its just a wait station for our weight! While our bodies gather for another assult on the fat storage! hhhmmmmm An idea for a thread..... New terminology for stalling. LOL and WOOHOO on the pants ( I like non stretch denim too!) those Guys pants will button. I think that the woman's sizes are based on hips and chest more so the waist (Guys). I miss the good ole Painters Pants from OshGosh BGosh.. I loved wearing those in Highschool. Baggy legs, tight waist, but my arse looked good in them.

JB.. you are going to surpass your goal I bet this week! OOOO I love seeing results like that. It reminds me that it can be done!

Pixikat.. You are getting close to the 230's OH yes you are!

Unique.. not to worry about the Reeses.; make sure that there are no others. Those things like to whisper your name in the middle of the night. Heck even during the day! Should not hurt tooooo bad.. but sugar does cause the cravings to start again.

Smith... I am sorry about your crazy scale. Are you feeling better??!!!

1/4 243.4 (-.4 total) salad did the trick.. and the 2.25 mile walk (3rd day in the row 2.25 or 2.5+ mile walks) Back in the right direction too!
1/5 242.8 (-1.0 total) Hooray! I willed it I swear! LOL Funny.. when I do believe it will happen.. it does! ahhhh my motto rings true.. I just have to remember!
1/6 243.6 (-.2) well at least I am still at a loss LOL SALTY SALTY food last night (Out with parents as they are leaving on Vaca for 2 weeks)
1/7 244 (+.2) ggrrrrrrrr Holding more water (maybe because of the colder weather?! to keep warmer?? Waiting for the flush and WOOSH! LOL
1/8 244 (+.2 total still)... getting a cold and I am craving salty food and comfort food... But that will just add to my misery (if I gain more) so have to consider this day as a day of battling my little voice (eat eat eat)

I'm sticking to Atkins induction with no issues at all yet . I don't drop big on the scale every day like some folks but I feel great (and smaller).
