  • I always found it interesting and fun to see what other people are having for dinner. Some of us just need a little inspiration to try something new.
  • Red wine. And beer.
  • If there was already a thread for this sorry. I get in a habit of having just protien and salad so I was hoping others might share meals they enjoy. Induction meals can always be difficult to find.

Tonight I am making Green Chili and Jack Chicken breast, green salad, possible grilled veggies.
  • I bought steak and broccoli for tonight but I haven't been very hungry today.....
The past few days have been chicken, eggs, tofu and tons of veggies, a few protein shakes. I am on day 4 of induction and down 4 pounds so far
  • I've got locally made chicken sausage with chipotles and cilantro. And salad...always salad. I'm hoping i can convince the BF he wants to grill tonight
  • Full list of what I eat is here.

But dinner is (mostly) booze only.
  • Tonight will be beef bourgignon (made on Sunday in a big batch). Normally with salad but I'm out and the market is tomorrow so I'll make a starter of cabbage crunch salad (knockoff of the whole foods recipe, minus the honey). Dessert for the family will be Greek yogurt with fruit and honey. None for me.
  • A hotdog. Yum.
  • I cooked turkey parts in the crockpot for 24 hours and had yummy turkey broth with turkey bits for dinner last night. Will have the same tonight. Salad at lunch.
  • Just finishing up making my tortilla shells (cauliflower recipe) and we are going to have a chicken quesadillas .......... I haven't had quesadillas forever and I'm really looking forward to it. (Only just discovered how to make the tortilla shells from youtube video.....I'm slow on the uptake!)
  • Tonight we have having stuffed green peppers, pepperoni pizza style (pepperoni slices, ground beef, slight tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese in and on top.
  • Burgers tonight with choices of cheese and toppings such as fried mushrooms and onions, bacon, or avocado
  • I agree, it is sometimes hard to come up with new meals. My go to meal is always seasoned saute'd chicken and saute'd broccoli and green peppers. Served with salad or sliced cucumbers. Haven't tired of it yet, but my family has.
  • I have the mashed cauliflower in the fridge all the time so whatever we have the mock potatoes are included and that makes my family feel balanced.

I love some of these ideas. I just told my iphone list to buy peppers for stuffing. I'm off right now to take chicken breasts out to thaw. I find this way of eating so easy and so varied.........I go to Linda's Low Carb website and use many of her casseroles for this time of year.
  • I use Linda's low Carb reciepes often. I also like the site Peace, Love and Low Carb.

Last night lime chicken breasted chopped over red leaf salad.

Tonight tacos using using the taco seasioning on Linda's LC site, usually I turn mine into a salad.
