Hey Stephanie it's probably water.. I'm up .8 but it is TOM for me.. by the end of the week that .6 will be gone and you probably will have dropped more weight.

Yeah, my guess is TOM. I'm so broken out and cranky. I need to get it over with, I had my baby 8 and a half weeks ago!

187 today, up .2. I know bad food will show over two-three days for me so I'm pretty self aware of why it is showing this way. I also had a giant salad last night. It was delicious and on plan but I'm sure it's quite heavy.

Edit: And I should say I checked with ketostix last night, I normally show up pink enough that I know there are trace amounts but the stick was dark purple so I'm guessing I am bloated. It's hard to remember what a period is like when you haven't had one in almost a year haha.

Stephanie it's definitely TOM and water. I know how you feel minus having the baby part LOL but I'm grumpy and feel like blah. I'm sticking to induction so I know I'm eating on plan and know that this is TOM and there is no way I could of gain weight. I haven't cheated or went off the plan so no need for me to think in that way as I've done nothing to sabatoge induction.

Did you drink enough water? I've noticed that when I hardly drink water my keto stix are dark purple, but when I drink 2L or more they register much lighter.

Actually, I did drink less water then normal yesterday. It was Sloane's 2 month shots and we were out and about for quite awhile and I forgot my water bottle.

S/C/G: Going from chubby to not

Smile I'm In

Hi All. I joined 3FC yesterday. I made an intro post on the main board. The condensed version is I finally said enough with the sugar addiction and began Atkins on Sunday. I had actually set a goal for myself, to do pure Atkins until Easter, no cheating, so finding this board is an added bonus. I'm the type that gets overwhelmed with huge projects, but I do succeed when setting small obtainable goals. I am setting a goal of 10 lbs off by Easter. I have another goal of fitting into some clothes that I ordered online that are a wee bit too tight.

I look forward to the support. ---> I love this dancing carrot, even though we are supposed to limit carrots on Atkins.

Welcome Serenity!

Setting small goals at a time is proven to be best, that way you are less likely to be discouraged. I try to make all my goals S.M.A.R.T. goals

I set a midway goal for St Patty's day because I feel like Easter is so far away.

Congrats memoree!

186.0 today, a new low which is nice I am bloated though! I looked in the mirror this morning and realised I was sucking in my stomach. I let it out and wow, haha. I just hope my period holds off until after my pap on Thursday because it was a b*tch to schedule as it is a dual appointment for me and my daughter.

I hope for your sake Stephanie TOM before you have your pap.. I'm in full mode with TOM and feel all yucky but I haven't strayed away from atkins.. to be honest I have no cravings and I'm not hungry.. usually on TOM I really want potato chips..

Thanks for the welcome all.

Memoree, congratulations! five pounds sounds great to me.

Around these parts it's Girl Scout cookie time. Those things are like crack to me, I bought some and then just gave them away.

Going to go chop some veggies for my salad now. I chop a bunch and then put them in a ziplock bag, this way there is no excuse not to have a salad ready to bring to work.

Keep on doing it!

186.0 again, have my pap today and still no TOM. I joked to my husband that I was pregnant again, he didn't find it funny haha.

Hope everyone is doing well!

Hello everyone. I figured this was the best place to post this question. I have been on Atkins for ~30 days. I've dropped 14 pounds but I seem to be holding steady there. Is this common? What should I do to get things going again?
