I was listening to the archives yesterday. Flylady has an internet talk show now, and I was listening to the show from Thursday the 26th.
She was talking with Leanne a lot about the Body Clutter book. About losing weight Low Carb style! And the interesting thing she was talking about was about white flour. How you can take white flour and add a little water to it and what do you get? Glue! Add only a little water to it and you get a dough that doesn't do anything but stay in a sticky hard lump.
She made the point that THAT Is what we are doing to our bodies when we eat white flour... I kind of got disgusted with that imagery. Can you imagine a lumpy doughy mass clogging up your insides? It sure made me not want to eat white flour.
Here's the link if anyone wants to listen to it.

She and Leanne have both lost 50 pounds, and it sounds like they were doing it essentially low carb. Leanne also has "menu mailers" she sends out if anyone is interested, that give you recipes for low carb meals. She has one that is low carb dinners, and another, the "body clutter" mailer that is for all your meals.
I don't know how low her idea of low carb is, I haven't gotten the mailers, but I'm thinking about it. Something about the way she does things is supposed to help you have the grocery shopping list all prepared for whatever you are going to make for the week too. Sounded like an easier way of trying new recipes to me.
