Default Saw them at my Wal-Mart

Hi Kelly,

They had them at my Wal-Mart this week. Didn't pick them up but I did pick up the new non meat Spicy Chicken Patties. I liked them a lot. Had one on 2 slices of diet bread with n/f mayo, lettuce & tomato. Pretty good. Worth a try. They are breaded - 3 points.

Ran coupons for them in the Sunday paper this week, so I'm guessing all the major grocery chains will have them soon.

I am a vegetarian and use Boca for almost everything. The new products are fantastic! The smoked sausage is my absolute favorite. In my opinion they taste more like a brat than the ones made to taste like a brat. The best thing is a Boca smoked sausage and a little salsa spread on the bun, a quick 5 point (I think-nt more than that depending on the buns you buy) lunch!

Enjoy!

Default I love these things!

I found the brats, italian sausage, and smoked sausages at my Eagle store the other day ( I live in Illinois). The brats and smoked sausages are 3pts and italian sausages are 2 pts. I have tried all 3 and they are all very tasty! Just like the real thing!

Cool New Boca Burger

Thumbs down to the new Boca Burger that replaces Chef Max's Favorite. The new burger is the "great american", but it is now 2 points instead of 1 point, and tastes like soy burgers from elementary school. Yuck! Does anyone have a suggestion for an alternative meat-like soy burger for 1 point?

That's not a replacement but an additional one. Chef Max's is still out there!

Default Boca Burger brats 'n sausages

Hi, ladies -- this is the first I have heard of them and they sound mighty good. Are they sold in the frozen section of the grocery store along with the other soy products (such as Morningstar sausages and so on)? Thanks for your help.

Default Boca Brats & Sausages

Yes, in my Wal Mart the new Boca products are in the frozen section right beside the other Boca and Morninstar Products. Good luck in your search.

Default Annie!

Morningstar Farms offers at least one 1 point alternative, I think it's the Better than Burger but might be the Griller. Also check out their Chik nuggets - VERY good and DH the meat addict didn't even notice they weren't chicken.

What about Gardenburger, original variety? Can't remember how many points it is but it's really good.

Default Boca Italian Sausage...

I found them in MN! I tried them last night and they are pretty good. Really spicy - would be awesome cut up and put on a low point pizza. I am going to try the brats next.

Howdy all,

Found the sausages in Albertsons and loved the smoked ones! They are great wrapped in a tortilla and my DD loved 'em. They were so good I wonder if my carnivorous DD would enjoy them. Kind of expensive though. $3.99 for a box of 4.

Love the pizza idea! Gotta try it soon.
