Hey Everybody! It has been a really long time since I have been on here. It wasn't a New Year's Resolution that got me back here, though. You probably don't remember, but I had lost a bunch of weight on WW and then gained it back because of some medication I was on. Well, I'm at the point now where I am just fed up. Fed up with myself and my eating habits and fed up with things like not wanting to go out and enjoy myself.
One of my big problems was that I moved about 2 1/2 years ago away from my family and friends. I don't have any family here and only a few close friends. Most of my friends still live back in MA. So I decided I needed some support and I remember how supportive all of you ladies were so I decided to come back here.
So update me on everything you have been up to and doing. Who got married? Who had babies? I rememebr lots of discussion about these things
I'll give you a little update on me. I've been in RI now for 2 1/2 years. My 1 year anniversary to my husband was this past August. We're hoping to get a house in the next two years, and start thinking about kids after that.
I got into the Masters program at Colorado State University. I'm working towards a Masters of Computer Science. All the courses are online so that's working out pretty good. After the Spring semester I will only have 4 courses left. So far I have taken 1 class a semester but this Spring I'm committing suicide by taking 2!
My job is OK. I like the work but would be much happier if different people worked here. And the benefits are great, I can't complain about that.
Nothing else really big going on. I did have my tonsils taken out last month. It was before that I decided to really get back on the bandwagon, but I wasn't able to eat anything but ice cream for over 1 1/2 weeks, so I had to wait until now to really get started.
I hope everyone is doing well!
Lori
As of last wednesday I weighed 206.0, up from my 152.something that I was at my lowest on WW. But my highest was 230-something, so I'm happy I haven't let myself go too far.
