Hello everyone,
Just wanted to introduce myself. I tried SBD once before in June and did awesome for the 2 weeks I stuck to it (dropped 21 lbs). Went to a cook out and well.. you know how it goes.
It's taken me a few months to return to a point where I am ready to do this, and now, I'm good to go. I've been back on plan since yesterday, however, I have modified slightly. I am allowing myself one grain product (limited) even in phase 1 because it really does give me a mental edge to not feel like I'm "going without".
What I'm having is: Wasa light rye crispbread (whole grain rye flour and sea salt are the only ingredients - 25 cal, 0 fat, 7g carb, 1g fiber, 0 sugars). I make like a little open face tuna sandwich on it. Just mix a bit of mayo, onion, celery with the tuna and pile high on 1 crispbread.. tastes fantastic.
I know that I'm going to stick with SB this time. I made it through yesterday even though my carb cravings were off the scale last night. Today, I'm not really craving at all, so that's good. I'm really set in my mind to do it and get down to a healthy place. I've been overweight since I was about 15 years old, enough.. that's half my life!
I've got 128 pounds to lose and I know it's going to take time. I'm prepared to make this commitment to myself and change my life for the better.
I look forward to getting to know all of you here.
Thanks for listening
Heather
