Default Cheese Treat

Just a hint - don't mix cottage cheese with your ricotta dessert! I tried it last night thinking it might add some nice texture, boy was I way off!! It was not good at all...I'm going to try making jello with some chopped almonds in it. But I like the cheese b/c its filling.

This is my 2nd time on Phase 1 and I'm finding it so much harder than the 1st time I went through it (last June). Anyone else going through phase 1 for the 2nd or 3rd (or more) time? Were the results as good as the 1st time through? I'm so impatient!

OOO, thanks for the warning- I was actually going to give that a try!!!

One idea mixing cottage chz with your "now currently approved for Phase 1" yogurt. I should add a warning, my sister and I LOVED this as children, thought it was the greatest treat, but I haven't had in years. But thought I would suggest it.

I just finished phase 1 for the first time, but the updates that came out last week really helped alot (especially yogurt). Did you look at that list? It might help!

I have been having (this may not be legal on phase 1, I'm just reducing my carbs, sorry) Cottage cheese, a couple tbsp's of yoplait source in vanilla, sprinkle of slivered almonds and cinnamon, and sometimes a sprinkle of kashi crunchy. Yum! I went from not likling cottage cheese to having 4 tubs in 3 days LOL. It is sooo good and sticks to yr ribs

I like the yogurt and cott cheese ideas. Thanks lucky & natalia! I have seen the new updates. Admittedly, I hesitate to do anything differently then the 1st time because it worked so well for me. I plan to add the yogurt though because I definitely need the calcium (& I love it). I'm such a carboholic -- this diet is the only way I have found to control myself. I'm very all or nothing.
