Plus I am a sucker for positive comments...;)

Here is a combined photo of me when I had a 58 inch waist to when I had a 46 inch waist (about 3 months ago).

Howie, you shouldn't have copied me having a goatee as well;)

Wow, Matt - great before and after! I can tell the difference just in your face with your avatar vs. the one in the white shirt.

Congrats on coming so far!

Great pics Matt. What is the shirt your wearing in the beach pic. It looks like a Flordia St shirt but I can't tell. Do you even like football. Big Ohio State fan here. Redskins for my pro team.

Hey Howie,

It is a Florida State Shirt. This past year I went to 14 military installation in 8 States. I wanted to get something from every State that I visited....I was only in Florida for the weekend (the military base that time was Ft. Rucker, in Southern Alabama).

I'm a huge OSU fan, and the Browns!

Cool, I forgot you said you were from Ohio until now. The Browns are my secondary team. I grew up liking the Redskins probably because my Dad liked them. I like to get stuff from the different states I go to also. It is usally a coffee mug because it's hard to find 4x shrits. That will be a thing of the past soon. Who knows maybe time will allow us to get together some time and watch a Buckeye game.

You are doing great Matt! You looked nice before ~ you're getting better and better. Keep up the good work.

Gayle

PS ~ it is funny ~ you see peoples pictures here ~ and sometimes while out and about you see people who remind you of them. When I was in the airport in Houston in June ~ coming back home from visiting my son and daughter, I saw a tall guy with a goatee there who reminded me of you and I remembered that you traveled and thought to myself ~ wonder if that is Matt. The guy would probably have thought I was nuts if I had gone over and asked. LOL

Some day I will probably make a fool of myself here in Greensboro and go up to some tall red headed girl and ask if she is Kim.

Thanks everyone! I just got back from a trip to DC to see some old friends from grad school. Had a great time! Too much socializing, but I have a few days now to make up for it before my next weigh in on Friday.

P.S. Howie, we should definately check out an OSU game sometime. Let me know if you are ever in the Boston area and I'll let you know the next time I am back in Ohio.
