Hiya all, I thought I make a special thread for the walkers out there. It can be indoors and outdoors. I am an advid walker,which I walk by doing errands . I walk 3 miles a day and let's all share our walking efforts here. I will make this a monthly progress!!

Today...I walked 3 miles... :)

I will join. About a year ago I was walking 3 miles a day. But I have definitely been a slacker for about 5 months now. I need to be held accountable somewhere! My goal for now will be 2 to 2 1/2 miles 5 days a week for the rest of the month of March and then will progress to 3 miles in April. Thanks for starting the thread!

Since March 10th, am tracking my walking on a fitness log.and tracking miles..Since the 10th,I walked 17 miles!! I would like to see how much walking I do before this year ends...It keeps me motivated!!

Walking is my fave. Today I walked 6km (about 3.7 miles).

Wow! Good for you!! That's an excellent pace! I try to walk with some running spurts. My fast walk is still quicker than my run though.

I have felt slack that I have not been walking near as much as much as I used to. Usually I do a short walk or longer walk to cool down after a run.
Last walk was on Saturday - 5km in 42 minutes. Goal is to walk it in 40 minutes.
My running and walking pace is close to the same. I prefer walking as its low impact but I don't mind mixing it up.

Haven't been walking much as I would like. Sunday 45 minutes, 4km ( cool down after 30 min run). Today 3.1km (2 miles) 28 minutes. Not feeling as motivated lately, frustrating because I'd really like to walk 14 km this month.

I love walking, but im slow so i did 2.3 miles in 59 mins!
I willl up my pace from now on

I've just started walking. I plan on doing it on the days I don't go the gym. I've been waiting for it to warm up a bit. We had a bitter cold winter and walking on a treadmill hurts my knees. Finally started last week. :)

4/10 - 1 mile in 20 minutes
4/12 - 1 mile in 18 minutes + Approximately 2.5 miles in 45 minutes (it was on a dirt trail with lots of hills)
4/13 - 1 mile in 18 minutes
4/17 - 1.5 miles in 25 minutes

Its been pouring down rain/snow/sleet for the last two days, but I plan on walking after I go to the gym today if its warm enough. We had freaking snow yesterday and its only 20 degrees right now.
