Love it, you look great!

Happy Saturday to everybody! Sounds like you all managed to have a great Thanksgiving, yay!

Picked up our Christmas tree last night and got it on the stand so it's decorating time today My son is off to an indoor trampoline place with his friends for a couple of hours so I'll get some of it done while he's gone but will have to wait until he's back to do the tree.

I had a bunch of compliments yesterday that made me feel really good - I met an old friend from high school for lunch and she said I looked like I did in high school (liar, but I'll take it, lol!), a co-worker told me I looked like a completely different person and, my nephew came over last night to help me install a new kitchen faucet and he told me that I looked "small" to him again (he's a lot taller than me). I told all of them that they were doing wonders for my ego!

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Jo

Hi everyone,

Just got back from Weigh In- down 5.8 pounds and 28 inches total. Blood Pressure 106/74, on the day I started it was 140/90. Averaging 3.5 pounds a week. Pretty happy since it is TOM.

Sonolady- I love your new picture. Your hair looks great!

Purplemomster- happy for you that people are noticing your hard work.

Holiday decorating to do today and then out to dinner(to an easy place to stay OP).

Hope that you all have a wonderful day.

Exclamation I am new and would love some support through the holidays

Hi all,
I am so impressed with sonolady's success! I didn't see your before picture, but love the short hair and your success. I am where you started and now have the journey ahead. Do you have suggestions for me? It is so easy to gain and so hard to loose that I've invested in the MRC protein drinks and hope they will help me though this weekend. I will start the more restricted food plan when the last of our holiday guests depart on Monday. My goal is to loose 10 pounds before we leave on our New Zealand cruise in January. That means 2 pounds per week. I can only get there by cutting out the bad carbs. Thanks for listening.

sonolady: Love the hair!

I just returned from a business trip and despite the only option for supper one night being pizza, and the only thing offered for lunch were sandwiches... I pretty much stayed OP... (OK, I probably went a little over on my protein) In the mornings I planned ahead and ordered a salad with a chicken breast at the hotel and packed it with me to my meetings.... after the pizza incident I got smart! I was happy with how everything went... I now have three days to be focused and OP before my next WI... hope all goes well!!

I haven't posted much recently but I read every day. Good to see so many folks having so much success! I've got less than a week left of phase 2. I didn't reach my "goal" but that goal was pretty arbitrary for me and I've discovered that with the fat just melting away I'm at the same clothing size I was when I last weighed 145. So I decided to phase off at 155 and now I'm down to 152-ish. I anticipate another loss for my second week of phase 2. This feels like a good place to be for me and a good time to phase off, start exercising (I was unable to during phase 1), and start maintaining. The work is just beginning!

I went clothes shopping today which was interesting as I didn't know what size I would be (size 8...yay!). I also spent the time over lunch in my car eating boiled eggs after an intensive session at the mall. When I was heading out this morning, I was thinking that it was a sad state that I would be eating boiled eggs in my car. Come 12:30pm, those boiled eggs never tasted so good! It was a vivid illustration to me of how food is fuel and how with planning I was able to fuel up, forge ahead, and not stray from the plan.

Anyway...that's my story and I'm sticking to it. I hope everyone has a great remainder of the weekend.

Willowvee, what wonderful success you have achieved! I love how you have incorporated changes, (eggs in the car) into your life. Congratulations on the
size 8.
