I'm only just getting into the 160s so I'll likely be here a lot longer than you. I'm already keen to move past them though.

Keep the 150s warm for me when you get there! ;)

We shall see...I was down to 142 last June and gained everything back. I may stay here for awhile :D

Sum, I made it to 136 for my wedding 5 years ago, then after the day I relaxed and put it all back on. This time I'm going to actually make it to goal, and I'm going to focus on maintenance instead of a single day.

I've stayed the same this past three mornings, but I'm not panicking too much. My weigh-in isn't very reliable on days I'm at work early, because I need to weigh before instead of after LittleMan's morning breastfeed. I'm hoping for great things on Saturday, though!;)

I like to see fluctuations like yours because then at least I know my body's doing something. When I stay the same too many days in a row I start to think that my scale's broke!

Oh how I hate to be back, but I am back!
Gained 3.4 pounds in 4 days after going off plan :mad:

Sooo....the ugly number of today is 162.6.

I had a week of being stalled followed by a week of being seriously off plan. Today I'm 166.5 and lucky it isn't much higher.

Hopping in this thread. Saw this a while ago and didn't think I'd need to join it since I assumd I'd be whooshing out of 160s. Alas, I have been 166 for over 3 weeks so maybe joining this thread will give me the extra push I need?

I was 169 this am (TOM just finished so possibly water weight, I hope!)

That's exactly what happened to me!

I raced through the 170s and the first half of the 160s, then hit 166 and stalled. It's really frustrating because I haven't gone off-plan, I'm still doing everything right, the scales just aren't moving.

Hopefully, we'll both beat the barrier some time very soon.

I did a hard workout and I have DOMS and TOM is around the corner, so let's hope I have a few pounds worth of water.

164 -- this is a big one for me because I've finally reached my pre-pregnancy weight. Next biggie is 136, my previous low.

I am still 166-167. It is kinda depressing and frustrating to keep reporting no losses for 4 weeks, I think now. I have changed my weight ticker to 5lbs at a time since I feel like it's gonna take forever to reach 135 at this rate. I am NOT going to give up though.

I'd like to join in here! I was 169.6 all weekend but I ate way to much and am back up to 170.6.... The last couple of months I have been having a hard time on the weekends. I think it is because my husband was working out with me on Saturday and Sunday and now he hasn't been which leads to me not working out. Plus then I have the bad thought of if I eat a little of this it won't hurt me but it turns into too many "a little of this". During the week I have no problems working out and controlling my food intake. So my big goal this week in to get back in the 160's and stay on plan over the weekend! :D

Sum, that's fantastic; your hard work is finally paying off. Keep the 150s thread warm for us, we won't be far behind you.

Amandie, you're doing so well to keep to plan even though you've hit a stall. That's the thing that's most likely to derail me, when I'm doing everything right and the scales just aren't co-operating. Hang in there, you're bound to break that log-jam soon.

Welcome, Tontus! I find the weekends tough, too. We've got a comfy spot in the 160s here for you, but hope you won't need it for long!

Me, I'm 163 today and have the 150s in my sights. I'm going to work hard over the next week or two to get out and stay out!!!

I realized that this weekend is going to be a rough one to get in exercise but I will have to just keep my eating in check! I am in charge of the PTA rummage sale this weekend and will be spending most of my weekend at the school. If I can stay motivated, hopefully I can get a walk in when I get home. I know that while I am at the school, I will only be able to eat what I pack, so I while take healthy foods!

Congrats Sum! I hate to say goodbye so soon but happy for you!! :D

Tontus, I feel you. I don't know why the weekends are so hard to stay on track, but they are a challenge for me too. It doesn't help that my husband is one of those that can eat everything in sight & not gain an ounce. Sigh!

I'm trying really hard to stay on plan with my food & exercise. I really would like to hit my goal weight by my birthday in August & I know that's not going to happen unless I really apply myself & keep my weekend eating in check.

I was 168.2 on Wednesday then TOM started on Thursday and I am at 169 today.

Last weekend I did Ok on Saturday but lost control Sunday. So I had half of a good weekend :dizzy: It is hard to be around a husband and 4 kids that aren't watching what they are eating!

I'd like to get to my goal weight of 145 by the beginning of September(I'd love to get there sooner but it is coming off to slow now.....)

Here is to both of us having a good weekend! :cheer2:

Yay to a great weekend! I know exactly what you mean about being around others that aren't dieting! My husband is always munching on snack food & I don't think it's fair to not buy it just because I can't eat it, but it does make it hard when I know there are goodies in the pantry just calling my name.

You coming up on a huge milestone pretty soon! 100 pounds lost! Wow that has got to be very exciting.

At this rate I will never get out of the 160's. This morning I was 169.2..... and yes I had a bad weekend. This time it started on Friday :mad:

I know I have come a LONG way but it seemed easier to stay on track when I had more to lose! I am not giving up though, eventually I will get my weekends on track :dizzy:

This weekend was a tough one for me. I thought I actually behaved rather well, but as of Monday morning I was at 169.2 (Tontus, we were twins!). I know it has to be something I ate or drank having me retain water, because there is no way I gained 2.5 pounds on Sunday!

I'm down .5 pound today, but it gets tiring to spend the entire week recovering from what I did on the weekend. Especially when I thought I was pretty good! I'm pretty sure it's due to having a cocktail on Sunday. It seems like every time I have a drink my weight skyrockets. Seriously? One drink? Bah!

Well, here's to hoping I end the week at least where I was last week :)

Kim - I feel the same way, it really sucks to do good all week and the ruin it over the weekend. Monday starts the vicious cycle back where we started the Monday before :dizzy: How are we going to fix this?

I bounced around over the last 3 days but today I was 166 :carrot:

I did way better this weekend, though I had some minor hiccups. I even got a workout in on Saturday.

I'm begining to think I might be here forever! I went out of town last week for business & came back to 172 on the scale on Monday! Yikes! I think it was just some water due to the cocktails I had over the weekend, because I'm down to 169.4 this morning. I'm really hoping I will keep dropping.

I've been really on point with my exercise. I've been getting up early every morning for 20 minutes on the elliptical & then another 20 minutes when I get home for work. I've also just started doing some arm exercises with my hand weights while on the elliptical. I'm going to try to stick with this through June & then switch up the exercise. I've heard it's good to do that.

Tontus, glad you had a better weekend. Yay for you!

I have been awesome with my food & exercise this week. I made a big batch of chicken chili last night & froze a few small bowls for perfect lunches. I'm really hoping to get to 165 by the end of the month. Fingers crossed & knocking on wood. :)

Sorry been MIA! I have my 3 yr old niece here for the last 2 weeks, plus we went away for memorial weekend. I went 10 days without working out......:mad: on May 23rd I was down to 165.8 but this morning the scale said 170.2. I am hoping there is some water weight there! Besides not exercising I have been eating more and not drinking much water. I have figured out that I need to exercise while the 3 yr old is still asleep. :dizzy: So fingers crossed that I get back on track and the scale drops back down quickly!!

was on 171 for 1.5 months..:( now with regular exercise and proper diet, the scale showed some mercy and moved to 164.3 this morning.

Another newcomer to this thread. I started my diet on March 11 (same day I quit smoking), and I weighed 190. Took me a day to get to the 180's :) and another 7 weeks to get to the 170's. I just arrived in the 160's a few days ago (getting here took about 6 weeks). This morning I weighed in at 168.25. My next mini goal is to get to the 150's.

Rosslyn: Glad to see you finally made it past 171. Did the scales just jump from 171 to 164.3? Wow...how often do you weigh yourself?

Tontus: If your 3-year old niece is anything like my kids were when they were 3, you'll get plenty of exercise when she's around. My kids are now adults (30 and 32) and I miss having little ones around.

kandd: Hope you've now made or passed your goal of 165!

I've been true to my diet, but not to my exercise routine, since I've been putting in 16+ hours days at work, 7 days a week, sitting in front of a computer. So, I've basically been bouncing up and down, a half pound here, a pound there. This morning, I was down to 167.5. My ridiculous working hours will soon be at an end and I can get back to my workouts, which should help. Good luck to all!

Anyone still around? There have been no new posts for over a month....

I got off track again and gained a couple of lbs :o I have been working out and am back down to 169.6. I am going to try my hardest to keep going down and hope I don't keep giving myself excuses to stray from the plan.
