good morning, ladies!

forgot to WI yesterday. it's been a crazy week. but i was down another pound this morning so i guess it all worked out.

3/21: 179.5
3/28: 179.5
4/04: no WI
4/11: 178.5
4/19: 177.5

GOAL: 174.5

hope you're all doing well. we're finally getting some nice weather out here. it was cold and gloomy all week but today i actually see some sun! :cool:

I'm cutting and pasting my entry over to this thread since I'm keeping everything on one....

I'm in!!! :strong: :cb: I definately need something to be working towards in order to make progress. My goal is to lose 6 pounds. That doesn't seem like much but dangit just losing 3 pounds and keeping it off would be a total miracle for me these days!!!

Goal 1 - Drop 6 lbs
Goal 2 - Exercise 5 days a week
Goal 3 - Plan my WW Points

3/17 - 159
3/24 - 159 (I was 158 on 3/21)
3/31 - 158 (it finally stayed low)
4/7 - 158 (still)
4/14 - 158 (I'm happy since I've been eating a lot)
4/21 - 157.5 (I'm seeing 157 off and on during the week)
4/28 - 157
5/3 - 156 (I weighed 2 days early this time) :D
5/12 - 158 (I just can't get away from this number!!!)
5/19 -158
5/26 - 157 -- Oh well...at least I lost a couple of pounds.

Liz - didn't know you were updating your first post. I just have been reading the new posts as they crop up. Congrats on your progress.

I did super Friday and Saturday. Sunday, not so good. I really want all of the candy out of the house!

I measured this morning and I lost another inch! I lost 1/2 inch in my waist and 1/2 inch around the bust. Cannot budge the hips/thigh area to save my life. I have always lost my waist first so I guess I need to wait it out.

2 3/4 inches to goal :strong:

over 16 inches gone forever :dancer:

hi all

sorry i'm late. my doggie had a little accident this weekend. i think he pulled a muscle. the vet gave him some anti-inflammatories but he's still hobbling around. if he's not better in a day or two i'll go back for x-rays. he seems in good spirits though and not in any pain (not enough pain to make him cry or wimper anyway).

up .5lb this week. i think i've hit another plateau. i've been bouncing between the same 2-3 pounds for about 2 months. time to start re-challenging myself!

Rabbit - Remember that adding to your exercise routine will effect the scale :) When I add or change something in my routine it will cause a slight gain while my body adjusts to it.

LA - Sorry to hear about your dog :(

Dani - Long time no see! Glad to see your back on the board :)

Ellie - thanks. you're right. I usually see an immediate response on the scale also.

LA - hope dog is okay.

Ok...I had my first major break through today..........I took off my jeans (while I was changing for the gym ;) ) and......I took them off without unbuttoning or unzipping them!!! :dancer:

I think my Memorial Day goal may be in sight :strong:

At least I'm headed in the right direction again!! :lol: I have to credit the gallon + of water a day I've been drinking, because my eating certainly hasn't been on track! :o

good morning and happy weekend to everyone. doggie is somewhat better, but not better enough. i took him to his regular vet (the first vet was at emergency care) and immediately he wants to take x-rays because he thinks it's a broken ligament which can only be fixed with surgery. i'm very sad about this. he still seems completely oblivious to the fact that anything is wrong with him except he keeps falling over when he tries to jump on the sofa. x-rays are scheduled for monday so hopefully i'll get some news shortly thereafter.

still holding steady on the weight front. i haven't gotten any exercise in this week beacuse i've been taking care of my walking buddy. plus the weather here is DREADFUL. it's been raining for 2 days and it's may for crying out loud. what ever happened to sunny southern california??

Did measurements this morning and lost another 1 1/2 inches!!!! I lost 1 inch in my hips (finally!!!) and another 1/2 inch in my waist. I wish I could figure out a way to measure my face :D When I look at my wedding picture it is amazing how much I have lost in my face.

hi ladies!

forgot to WI this weekend. i usually WI saturdays and wednesdays. i don't think i'll reach my goal for memorial day, but i'm just happy i haven't gained. i've been having some back problems and haven't exercised in almost 3 weeks. it's making me quite irritable. i had an MRI last week and should hopefully get the results soon.

congrats to everyone on your losses! keep it up!

Hey All,

I skipped WI last week and this week. I don't wanna see the results! :( Hopefully next week will be better. Not sure that I'm gonna meet my goal though. Hopefully things will be looking up soon.

Hello Everyone,

Sorry I haven't been around for a while. I had a big gain, which I've proceeded to loose but I just can't seem to get focused. I didn't meet either of my goals (my deadline was Tues 5/13 since we're leaving on vacation this weekend).

My goal was:
Start: 243.8 lbs
Goal 5/14 : 233.8 lbs plus average 3 walks per week

Actual 5/13 = 242.5 and averaged 2 walks per week :(

Oh well I am thinner than when I started and I have been exercising some. So that's better than usual :o .

Congratulations to all the loosers and to everyone who stuck with the challenge even if they didn't make they're original goal.

Have a great holiday everyone, since I won't be back until after.

hi ladies,

the good news is i reached my memorial day goal of 174.5 this morning. but the bad news is the MRI shows i need to have surgery to remove a herniated disc. :( i can certainly see where all this pain is coming from, as the disc is quite large. sadly i think the only reason i lost the weight is because the pain medication has cut my appetite quite a bit. but if i have to find the silver lining, i guess it's something! :^:

so this will probably be my last post for a while. good luck to everyone on their goals.. short term or otherwise.

Hey guys....I met my goal, lost another 1.5 inches. I also lost about 4 pounds according the doctors office scale. I wish I were in a WOOHOOO mood but I not :( I am still not feeling great, I will fill you all in a little later.

I will try to help you all stay motivated. How about a Labor Day Challenge?
