Angry A few recipes for Chicken....

The Medical Weight Loss Clinic that I go to, gave me a booklet with many different healthy recipes in them that I can use.

Here are two that I have tried, and taste great!

********************

Apple Breaded Chicken

6 oz. chicken breast
1 small apple, cooked and mashed
1 slice Melba toast, crushed
cloves, and cinnamon

Coat chicken with mashed apples. Sprinkle Melba toast crumbs, cloves, and cinnamon, over chicken breast.

Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

********************

This meal would consist of:

1 protein
1 starch
1 fruit

And then you can add your veggies, or what ever else you would like that fits your plan you are on. Enjoy!

Moist Baked Chicken or Turkey

6 oz. chicken breast, or 5 oz. turkey breast
1/3 cup onion, chopped
1 can of Diet 7-up
basil, rosemary, sage, thyme.

Rinse meat with cold water. Line bottom and sides of pan with foil. Pour Diet 7-up over meat in pan. Sprinkle with all seasonings. Cover with foil, and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.

********************

This meal would consist of:

1 protein
1 vegetable

And you can add what ever else you would like to suit your diet plan. Enjoy!

Those sound good, thanks! I'm not sure I would cook and mash an apple, but would use applesauce from a jar. I take the easiest way out, lol. The 7-Up chicken sounds interesting, I'll try that!
