Default Battling dehydration

lol okay it's not as dramatic as the title suggests.

But I can't get re-hydrated!! Obviously when I don't think enough water, I get dehydrated... But then I start filling up my liter sized water bottle, and I get even more dehydrated! I guess it's flushing me out... I'm getting indentation lines all over my body and feel like crap.

I assume I need to pace myself or something... But do I need more electrolytes, sodium? What is it? I feel pretty bad today. I had 2 cups of coffee earlier, and just water since (like 3-4 liters.)

Well, coffee is a dietetic so it's not going to help with the hydration. When I get dehydrated I eat salty food and drink a ton of water. I love kikkoman miso soup so that my go to sodium.

I don't understand how you get more dehydrated when you drink more water???

Getting indentations as in like you socks leave marks? If that's what you mean that means you are retaining water.

Have you eaten enough today? Have you exercised today (over-exercised?)?

Seems like maybe there's more to the story.
