Dee-I like your idea. The goal will probably take me a year, though!! I think we can get maps on the net that would give us the mileage. If that doesn't work, I'm going for 100 this month.

Shelley maybe we can inspire some of the other girls to help us out. Hey we could count 20 minutes of moderate exercise as a mile or 10 minutes of heavy exercise as a mile.
Once we get approval from the boss..........we will put the call out for help.

Sherry I suggest that we take the mileage from January 1 including the activity time too. One mile for 10 minutes some what hard exertion, 20 minutes for moderate exertion, 30 minutes for low exertion.
Can you come up with the total miles and see if we can challenge anyone else to help us get to your place?

Dee-Is that total of 2160 to your house from Sherry's or from Ft Myers? I'm too stupid to figure it out!! Right now I will start with mileage to Sherry's house from Jan. 1. I have gone 323 miles this year.

Shelley I thought that we could do this as a group thing, we could all work together and see how long it takes. We are all crashing at your place to join you on the journey. First trip to Sherry and Debbie's is 1344 miles. Once there we will rest up and party then continue on to my place which is 816 miles.
Now if we get the total of everyones miles we can see how far we went since January 1.

I'm not sure how to get involved in this. My exercise is all at the gym. I take spinning classes, not really measured in miles...some days I'll work out on a precor and do free weights too. Should I base it on time spent? I'd like all of you to come visit me in California!

Well this is just an estimate, but I probably ride about 10 miles every time I spin and I spin an average of 3 times per week....I've been doing this for about 6 weeks so that has to be 180 miles since Feb. 24th.

Dee, I'm not sure if I understand exactly what you want(I AM blond, you know) but,
I probably get about an hour per day of fairly strenuous activity....
unpacking boots(my average order weighs around 600 pounds), bending and stooping to help people try on boots and I walk back and forth from the repair shop to the front of the store an average of 40 times per day.

Ramona thanks for helping us move closer to Sherry's and Debbies place. Since January 1 if you worked 5 days a week, that would make 68 days at an hour a day. We will count it as moderate activity. Twenty minutes = 1 mile. You did 60 minutes so you contributed 3 miles a day. Total 204 miles.....you Rock Ramona. Now if you could post a total for me each week, it will bring us closer to Canada. Let's party!
