    **Dee.....I figured up my miles since Jan. It's not too good. I had BAD months in Jan. & Feb. I didn't start doing good until March.WOW SHELLEY.....323 MILES!!! WTG!!!!!!
    My poor pitiful miles so far this year is only "58 miles." I'm doing better though!!

    I will try adding up miles tomorrow for our group. You did ok Sherry just keep at it.
  • I'm not sure how to get involved in this. My exercise is all at the gym. I take spinning classes, not really measured in miles...some days I'll work out on a precor and do free weights too. Should I base it on time spent? I'd like all of you to come visit me in California!
  • Jeanne it would be great if you could join in. We could use all the help that anyone is willing to offer. After Canada we will head down and see you too.

    10 minutes hard exercise = 1 mile
    20 minutes moderate exercise = 1 mile
    30 minutes very light exercise = 2 miles

    Hey everyone you can include racking, pond digging, gardening, cleanning. Just base it on intensity.

    2: Turn LEFT (East) onto SR-82 [Martin Luther King Blvd] 6.2 miles
    3: Turn LEFT (North) onto Local road(s) < 0.1 miles
    4: Take Ramp (LEFT) onto I-75 (I-75 / Tampa) 791 miles
    5: Construction between Gainesville and Reddick (May 31, 2002 - March 31, 2003) < 0.1 miles
    Entering Georgia
    6: At I-75 Exit 156, take Ramp (LEFT) onto I-475 [SR-408] 25.1 miles
    7: At I-475 I-75 Exit, take Ramp onto I-75 [SR-401] 3.5 miles
    8: Stay on I-75 [SR-401] 94.7 miles
    9: At I-75 Exit 238B, turn RIGHT onto Ramp (I-285-BYP / Atl Airport / Chattanooga) 1.5 miles


    This is 828.1 miles....we have gone past that by 15.9 miles. We are in Georgia

    181 miles until we enter Tennessee. Get your miles in so that we can get on and party with Debbie and Sherry!

  • Well this is just an estimate, but I probably ride about 10 miles every time I spin and I spin an average of 3 times per week....I've been doing this for about 6 weeks so that has to be 180 miles since Feb. 24th.
  • Thank you Debbie and Jeanne for figuring out your mileage. Now all we need is Gayle's pond workout and Sherry a ball park figure of mileage for your activity.
  • Sherry get ready for us......we are only 321.4 miles away.

    If we can get everyone to help us out by pushing it just a little further than we wanted to go we will be there in no time at all.

    According to our route we have made it 99 miles past #14. We are in Tennessee!!!!!

  • Dee, I'm not sure if I understand exactly what you want(I AM blond, you know) but,
    I probably get about an hour per day of fairly strenuous activity....
    unpacking boots(my average order weighs around 600 pounds), bending and stooping to help people try on boots and I walk back and forth from the repair shop to the front of the store an average of 40 times per day.

  • Ramona thanks for helping us move closer to Sherry's and Debbies place. Since January 1 if you worked 5 days a week, that would make 68 days at an hour a day. We will count it as moderate activity. Twenty minutes = 1 mile. You did 60 minutes so you contributed 3 miles a day. Total 204 miles.....you Rock Ramona. Now if you could post a total for me each week, it will bring us closer to Canada. Let's party!
