30 pound challenge. Wouldn't you love to be first place?
Hi I would love to start a 30 pound challenge, with no set timeframe. I am 30 pound away from my first goal and I love competition! The objective is to be the first to lose 30 pounds, without resorting to disordered eating or weight loss supplements and within a reasonable time frame. This challenge is probably more suitable for chicks in the obese category And in the end, everybody loses, right?
Well I am definately obese so I qualify I will join you. I know this will take several months but that's okay. I need to do this slowly and right this time.
okay, count me in -- because maybe this will help me get my carcass in the gym, and without that my weight loss will be too incredibly slow beyond words....ok 30 pounds....so, today is 4-12-12 and i'm 273.0 pounds today. If I lost down to 243, I would be past a set point I have dealt with for more than a decade of 250 pounds. So, yes, I'm in, definitely in. I'm on some other challenges, and have learned maybe I'm on too many and it's hard to keep up, so after April 30, I'll probably only do this challenge and one other....that might help me stay focused, because to lose 30 pounds I have to be focused, eat right, go to the gym, stay on the plan and not go off the plan and not cheat -- oh and drink water and that covers about all my other challenges I am on. (Challenges are great -- I just think I signed up for too many.)
I've lost 30 since Jan. I'm looking to lose another 30 in the next 3-6 months. Count me in! If we all lose, there will be no one single winner! :-)

GW: 150 (aka no longer overweight!)
I'm in! Over the past 8 mos I've completely fallen off the diet & exercise wagon, and have regained 20 of the 30 lbs I lost. I'd love to get that weight off again, and go even further.

GW: 168
Well on 4-13-12 -- I was up on the scale at 274.....but today the scale says 271, so I guess i'm on my way.....of course I know I won't lose all the time, the scale goes up, the scale goes down, the scale goes all around....but over time it is nice to see it move downward.....
here's to us and the 30-pound challenge. may the best LOSER win :-)
