6 Months to 25...
Hey everyone! New here. :-)
So after gaining about 8lbs in the last 6 months, I've decided to whip myself into shape! I have had a destructive relationship with food ever since I broke up with my long term boyfriend 6 months ago ... eating too much, depriving myself, feeling bad about it. It doesn't help that the last thing he said to me (after 4 years together!) is was "well ... I hope you get fat!" ARGH.
Anyways, so today marks 6 months until my 25th birthday. I want to be in great shape by that big day. My plan is to keep it low-carbish and around 1200 calories a day. I also just signed up for boot-camp classes at a park two blocks away from my house from 6am-7am. I have been so bad about working out since I moved and started a new job 4 months ago! I'm hoping having a set class will get me motivated.
In sum, I want to be fit and happy and in control by September 19, 2012. I've also got a big wedding on May 19th, so I'm hoping to be well on my way there in two months! I'm hoping this forum will help keep me committed and offer me the support I need to get there. :-)
